I had a loft conversion done by a builder, after which we failed the Final Inspection. Subsequently, I fired that builder and began searching for a reliable builder to complete my loft conversion and address all the issues that Building Control had identified. After interviewing 3 builders, I decided to hire Magic Finishing. Vlad was diligent and caring about my situation, and he brought a great team with him to finish my construction. He replaced the staircase to the loft ( which was the main issue), replaced all doors with fireproof doors, performed electrical work, painted all touched areas, and also retrofitted the outhouse.

We approached Pierre to remove a washbasin and install in its place a new toilet, sink and soil stack. Pierre was thoroughly professional throughout the process - he was transparent with his costs, was punctual and completed the job to a very good standard (despite encountering some difficulties with our wonky floor and dodgy walls!) I hired Vasile and his team to initially refit my bathroom but after meeting him decided to hire him to complete a number of projects including installing a built in bookcase into a wall, decorating 2 bedrooms, hallway and removing built in wardrobes. I can not recommend Vasile and his team enough! Vasile is trustworthy, honest and worked within my budget. He offers incredible design advice and the workmanship is of such a high quality. They were always clean, punchual and completed the jobs on time and under budget! This is the first time I have used Mybuilder and did so because I got tired of getting messed around by contractors. I decided to use Vasile after I read the reviews here and I am really happy with the work. Vasile will be refitting my downstairs WC and kitchen later this year. I would highly recommend his services and professionalism.

William and his team did a great job of redecorating our 4 bed period property inside and out. William gave a detailed quote which enabled us to select or deselect some items and know the relevant cost. There were some minor snags that required extra plastering and repointing all handled with ease and no fuss. The communications were good and the team were hard working and courteous. I would not hesitate to use William again.

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Tomasz and Roman were hired to completely renovate two bathrooms (complete new suite, plastering, herringbone tiling, new ceiling lights, fan replacement, painting and decorating) in our flat. He went beyond the original identified issue with the heating system bringing in an electrician to help solve the root problem (seemingly a legacy from previous repairs made by others). Fred was always responsive and patient throughout the process charging a fair price in my view. Highly recommended

Overall experience absolute stress!!! First impression decent tradesmen and fair price but the following happened 1. Turned up 1hour late 2. Parking issues(I ended up paying as delaying job starting) 3. Didnt seem like he had done a Ikea PAX wardrobe(didn’t understand sliding door mechanism even though I provided code for my order so he can check) 4. Complained about paint smell (confusing I have been living in property for 1 month with husband & child no issues) 5. Left job after 2.5hrs incomplete because of paint smell, and asked for 1/2 agreed payment upfront & return another day to finish) my husband confirms he had another job but gave this excuse but I paid in good faith. 6. Messaged me to state that I mis informed him of the size of the wardrobe and the job would require more money( laughable as I gave him the Pax wardrobe code to see all info regarding this. 7. Confirmed he wanted additional £70 to finish the job and compared himself to what Ikea would charge. I would of went to Ikea if i wanted to spend a arm and a leg Daniel don’t price a job if you have not fully researched what is needed especially when the customer provided you with codes to check wardrobe. And especially don’t think it’s acceptable to change a price because of your own oversight and leave a job 1/2 done because of paint smell. Next time wear a mask if you have such a sensitive sense of smell, this was the most inconvenience and waste of time & money with this tradesmen

Ian rang me really quickly and we arranged for him to come and look at the job. He saw that the job was not necessary but gave me loads of good advice about what might have happened and what to do if it happened again. He wanted to help me avoid ripping up the whole bathroom unnecessarily. Ian saved me loads of money and was so polite and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Artan and his team did a good job of our bathroom refit. Although not a lot of new plumbing was necessary, all sanitaryware was replaced, and both floor and wall tiling was completed to a good standard and for a reasonable price. His team who worked on this were helpful and keen to get the job right.
