Florin extended and completely refurbished our 4-bedroom semi-detached house. This included extensive steelwork, underfloor heating, complete re-plumbing and rewiring, excavation, and an entirely new slate roof as well as varying extensions up to three floors high. I cannot say enough good things about his workmanship, professionalism and reliability. His workmanship makes a perfectionist like myself happy. He is also completely professional: even with our difficult neighbours he was always courteous and understanding, and even helped them sort out issues at a moment’s notice that had nothing to do with his building work on our property. And he is also thoroughly reliable. I cannot think of any instance where he committed to something and did not deliver — he even managed to finish all the work on our house ahead of schedule and on budget. We have been so happy with his work that we contracted him to build us a summer house as well, from scratch, and to complete revamping our front garden including elements of hard landscaping. Again he delivered flawlessly and we are very happy with the result. We also continually receive positive comments from people passing by and just seeing the front garden. We have used several other builders in the past on other properties, including far more expensive ones, and none compare to his level of competence, attention to detail in his workmanship, his complete professionalism and thorough reliability. Now that we have found Florin, we will never look for another builder again. I just hope once others experience what he delivers for themselves he will still have some availability for us in the future!

WHILE DEALING WITH THE ISSUE, IT WOULD BE BETTER TO WARN ALL OF YOU SO THAT YOU DON'T GET INTO HIS STRAP. ISSUES: THIS TRADEPERSON AGREED TO DO THE WORK. LABOUR'S COST HAS BEEN AGREED, HE RECEIVED DEPOSIT. PLEASE WATCH OUT HE ASKED FOR A BIG DEPOSIT. STARTED THE WORK. AT THE BEGINNING HE PRESENTED AS A TRUSTWORTHY, FAITHFULL PERSON. AFTER ORDERING ALL THE MATERIALS AND THEY ARE DELIVERED, THIS TRADEPERSON WILL NOT PICK UP YOUR CALLS AND ANSWER YOUR TEXT MESSAGES ANYMORE. Quoted £500 to remove small kitchen wall (<1m wide), make adjacent wall good, and move light switch. Removed wall, moved switch, and kindly moved fridge. Said he'd return to make wall good. On two occasions I arranged to WFH and he failed to show up or let me know. On multiple occasions he said he might be able to do a day but then didn't confirm. He did come by when we weren't in one day to drop wood off to cover wall gaps. One day I arranged for our dog walker to be in at 1. She waited until 3. I messaged Daniel later to ask what happened. He apparently came at 1.20 and waited for 15 mins. I believe he turned up and our dog walker didn't hear door but it's unlikely he tried to knock multiple times over 15 mins, as she was listening for him. Agreed he would finish work in new year. In Jan again failed to confirm days/times on multiple occasions. Finally agreed noon on a Sat. Failed to show up/respond to messages. Eventually got through to him - said his phone was broken. No explanation re why he didn't show up. Agreed he'd come the next Sat but no show again. No response to message or to later one asking if he planned to finish the job. Received a missed call but nothing further. I've left it a month as hoped he would get in contact. It's clear he has run off with £500, leaving giant holes in wall. I work long hours and weekends are precious. I have no patience for someone who has no respect for my free time, or for fact it's not possible to WFH all the time.

Kris was very nice to begin with but left us in a mess job was not finished as he didn’t price it right. We were left with pipes in the floor exposed and we have small children. He said he could do the electrics but turned out he wasn’t qualified. Doors were put upside down and tiles were left chipped . Bathroom sink also leaks
