From his initial visit to see the job and quote, he was in pole position for the work. He looked at the right things, asked the right questions and was open to ideas. Throughout the job, stairs/landing carpets were covered, and tools/landing coverings etc cleared/tidied at the end of each day. Lee kept me informed on progress, and work planned for the following day. Our tiles were delayed,(out of local stock) and Lee happened to have a one day job to go back to, where another clients' tiles had been delayed, we easily agreed a day that suited and which helped both parties out. Workmanship, attitude, time-keeping and resulting job completed, were all first class. No hesitation in recommending - in fact have put him in touch with my son and daughter who both have bathroom jobs to be done.

I had a terrible bathroom renovation, where it was necessary for a large part of the work had to be redone. Greg removed the tiled floor, sink, toilet and shower tray. He found mistakes in all these areas. It was because of his findings. I decided to have a bath put back in. If you need a bathroom installation with a person who actually knows what they are doing, then I would recommend Greg. Had a leaking toilet, twice it was seen by others. They did not want to touch it. Greg has fixed the toilet. I will be contacting Raven Plumbing and Heating Solutions, when I having plumbing issues in the future

It was a great relief to find Rob of BWK Tiling. I am a landlord living far from my property which needed a tricky bathroom tiling repair among other things. I was able to leave the job in the very capable hands of Rob. He was professional, responsive, creative and dealt well with my Tenant. Zoltan and his team did a great job transforming my tired old bathroom into a beautiful new one. The job took a little longer than expected, although this was due to the need to reconfigure the water pipes from their previous odd positioning along the walls, and to fully tile and redo the bathroom ceiling to get them up to scratch. The room now looks great. Zoltan was very helpful in explaining each step of the process, and was also good at suggesting positioning for units, and highlighting e.g. that the sink tiles needed to be moved into the wall so as to ensure a sleek look once the wall hung vanity unit replaced the old floorstanding one. I appreciated his views and he also took time to make sure I was happy at each stage, for example with the mosaic patterned tiles placement and the mirror placement on the wall. He and his team were very prompt arriving each morning; Zoltan actually called to apologise one day for being "late", by only 10 minutes which was not late at all. He and his team were also happy to stay late in the evening towards the end of the project in order to get it finished. Overall I'm very pleased with the final result.

We hired Luca for a job that involved a variety of work across our entire flat. Being totally new to renovation work and having been stung by other builders, meeting Luca was a breath of fresh air – he was friendly, helpful and honest. Luca did an great job for a very reasonable price. He’s fairly new to contracting bigger jobs, but he’s got a lot of previous experience as a tradesman and his plastering in particular was perfect – we’ve had loads of compliments on the quality of his walls and ceilings. He was always on time, always communicated with us fully, and was a pleasure to have around the flat. He made a real effort to keep disruption as minimal as possible and was very patient with us about stuff needing to be moved from one place to another. It wasn’t the easiest job and there were a couple of problems and extras, but Luca takes a lot of pride in his trade and worked extremely hard to keep us happy. We had a couple of plumbing issues arise but he went well above and beyond to resolve them, coming back for 2 days after the job was due to be finished to make sure that everything was working properly. This is far more than we expected, and we did really trust that Luca wasn’t the sort of person that would leave anything unfinished. We’re so chuffed that we met Luca and with the excellent work he did, and would love to work with him again. Luca is going to go on to big things, so if you get the chance to hire him now, we'd recommend him without hesitation.

Ruslan is not a plumber. He had butchered my bathroom and caused me so much damage. Floor boards cut in the middle, not over a joist, 90mm taken out of joists to try and get an incorrect bath waste in, leaking valves that I told him were leaking on day one and he didnt change. He wanted to use compression fittings under the floor because he was afraid of soldering and using a flame. He does not have Public Liability insurance. I asked him to leave my home after 3 days and not return. I will try and resolve his issues somehow but for now I have no working toilet and no bathroom. English is very difficult for him which is fine, but it Is hard to explain that building and water regulations are there for a reason. He works very messy and has tools everywhere, and left blood on my banister and door handle from his cut finger. I would not recommend Ruslans for any work.

John Wardle and his crew did a magnificent job on our bath and shower rooms. We took a chance on Johnny, as being new to My Builder he didn’t have any reviews. Johnny’s assurance that he only did one job at a time was a big plus. Johnny tackles everything with an engineer’s eye. Our bathrooms job turned out to be far more difficult than first thought. Our very quirky stable conversion, last updated decades ago, was challenging. Once the work started it was discovered that the old Velux windows in the bathroom had been secretly leaking behind the tiles for years causing water damage to the joists and walls. A sheet of glass was discovered sandwiched in the stud wall and tiles had been tiled on top of tiles! It was very distressing to see walls, floors and ceilings having to be torn down to fix the problems, but it was comforting to know that Johnny and his crew knew exactly how to do the best restoration job. Johnny contracted in electricians and a heating engineer and organised things so that everything ran smoothly. Everyone worked really well together. All those working in our house were a pleasure to have around: they worked hard, were respectful and friendly. Having confidence in those doing the work made a potentially unbearably stressful situation a lot easier to cope with. We now have a fantastic bathroom and shower room which exceed our original expectations. We are very grateful to John Wardle and his crew and have no hesitation in highly recommending them.
