We at Yorkshire Builders have a wealth of experience with our MD starting as an apprentice joiner back in 1968, this knowledge is valuable in understanding the construction/fabric of many properties and dealing with any alterations. We work to exacting standards and can provide quotes that include the works/calculations of a structural engineer and architect if needed. We also provide plastering when needed as well as electrical and plumbing works by appropriate skilled/qualified staff. However, we no longer do insurance quotes, due to the volumes of such request that we received and not one placed an order with us. We do take any works we are engaged for, from start to finish if required, we have appropriate insurance in place to a value of some 2 million pounds due to the size of projects we have worked upon. We even carry a Government waste carriers licence, to then lawfully carry waste away from the property that we have carried work upon. Most builders do not even know that it is an offence to carry waste without an appropriate licence to do so. Detailed quotes listing all works are provided along with our waste carriers licence number before any works are commenced. Our many years experience helps us not only understand our customers needs but also knowing the properties that we work upon, all this helps us find solutions to many problematic areas that can cause some builders to not take on complicated or difficult works, or worse stops them for being able to not complete the works they started. We are office based so you can contact us via a landline number as opposed to just a mobile number with the builder working out of a van.
