I am Matteo Scarpellini, an architectural designer with a deep passion for parametric design and sustainability, which was a central focus of my dissertation for the March RIBA Part 2 qualification at the University of East London. I am excited about the opportunity to work in the UK again, especially after having returned to Italy due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past two years, I have worked in Italy as a qualified "Junior Architect," developing a range of public and private projects. I moved back to UK, where I am eligible to work, eager to pursue my Part 3 qualification and advance my career. In my 3 years working experience I have developed a strong ability to fast adapt to new building regulations in various locations like Italy, USA, and Dubai, and now I am ready for an experience in UK. I have also experienced the role of working site manager assistant, which has given me a deep connection with choices taken during design time. Making architectural design choices dealing with MEP is important as much as doing it with structure, because it gives the touch of care that everybody can fell instinctively, and, in my architectural projects, taking care of people emotions is what I like most.
