Our process and services include; 1. Free initial consultation/site visit. We always recommend an in-person visit to see your property or site, and discuss your requirements in detail. You will be able to ask questions and at the same time we will explain the full process from design and planning to construction and handover, addressing any concerns 2. Survey and design. The survey is where the fun begins. This may involve a detailed measured survey of your existing property or a site. The information will be used to develop an accurate 3D model which allows us to compare directly between existing and proposed designs. 3. Planning. We are skilled at navigating planning policy which informs the design. Once a design is signed off, the project will be submitted to planning for approval. The studio works closely with planning officers, responding to queries to achieve a positive outcome. 4. Technical design. Building regulations can be complex however, the studio is well versed at producing innovative, intricate and detailed technical drawings. The key is to ensure the design and pre-construction health and safety information is complete and clear for contractors to build from. 5. Tender / Builder quotes. With building regulations approval granted, the drawings, specifications and pricing document can be issued to reputable contractors for quotes. We can manage the entire process, communicating with the contractors ensuring quotes are like for like, and the tendering process is fair. 6. Construction and handover. The preparation and hard work pays off and the vision becomes reality. The contractor builds the project from the approved plans. Hi, I’m Nicole Wilson—an interior designer with over 13 years of experience across architecture, interiors, and freelance work. I started my career in a London architecture practice, where I gained hands-on experience with planning applications, building regulations, and detailed technical drawings—giving me a solid grounding in how buildings come together. Since then, I’ve designed homes, supported developers, and worked closely with architects and contractors to deliver projects from concept through to completion. A key part of my role has often involved producing drawing packages for planning and building control, ensuring designs are both creative and compliant. After a short break to focus on family, I’m now returning to full-time design work with a broad range of experience and a practical, hands-on approach to delivering well-considered spaces.
