Based on architect recommendation, we contracted Alain on a private basis to produce structural engineering designs for our home renovation. He undertook a site visit and then produced structural designs to support a large number of elements related to new support beams, lintels etc. These have been iterated with the architect and the process has been very smooth. He was very responsive and nice to interact with. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend as a structural engineer for the type of project we undertook (loft conversion, new pitched roof, new openings within walls and ground floor open plan conversion)

He worked from morning until it was dark on each day & I can’t fault his workmanship. Job: reinstall 1 blinds, and install 1 door handle, £100. Great if you’re looking to install venetian blinds onto a brick wall. Hoovered the dust directly whilst drilling which was appreciated! However, they did not have the tools needed to install the door handle/mortice lock, which was discussed before the appointment so I can only assume you were unprepared. They did not fulfil this task. I thought you were being polite by putting the old door handle back on as you failed to install the new one. I could have done that easily myself, for free, I only removed it to prepare for the job. Was not expecting to pay the £100 quoted just to put the old handle back on instead of a mortice lock handle. I’ve booked a locksmith and will have to pay more to complete a job I have essentially paid for already... In future, if you have not completed a task I would not charge the customer the full amount quoted, respectfully. You were polite despite this and clean, and as for the blinds the job done was satisfactory, well done! I also appreciate that you took a trip to screw fix to find a handle easier to install, even though you came back empty handed. A for effort. I’m not greatly concerned over the money, but thought it overall was unfair and a waste of time. I only paid as I felt sympathetic 2 tradesmen spent 3 hours installing 1 set of blinds, taking an unsuccessful trip to screw fix and fiddling around with a door handle. Thank you for installing the blinds though!

I contacted Darren to carry out some installations for some tap and waste pipe fittings and realised his quote was very reasonable. Before the meeting he kept me informed about ETA, and on arrival went straight to work. He was very efficient and prepared the materials so all the jobs can be carried out at together. Once he completed the installations he did another check to ensure there was no leakage and took the time to explain exactly what he had done. He was very polite, friendly and obviously experienced plumber. I'm very happy with his professional service and will not hesitate to use again.

Facundo was the person we dealt with at all times, although someone else was assigned to do the job. The quality of the work and finish is extremely good.
