We provide the whole package. Sally has a strong history of design. She enjoyed many years as a florist, then retrained to BA Hons. in Garden Design at Greenwich University. Ian, has enjoyed an interesting and diverse career in construction for over 40 years. Extremely experienced in many types of construction, including Civil Engineering, Swimming Pool Construction, Drainage & Groundworks, House Renovations, Extensions, New Builds, including the creation of a local village shop for the Parish Council. Latterly, Ian's enjoying and concentrating on bringing our Garden Designs to fruition. We designed and created a Silver Gilt Award Winning Show Garden at Harrogate, Design & Construction of Community Gardens, in association with Maidstone Borough Council and Sheffield University, and of course Residential Gardens. Very important to us, is to help preserve both our planet, and all it's inhabitants wherever possible...including those important beneficial insects and wildlife, by improving the biodiversity of even the smallest sites. Please see our gallery of before and after garden maintenance. We created a small log pile, creating important habitat for smaller wildlife and amphibians. This used garden litter from pruning shrubs and clearing the over-grown garden area. The remainder we shredded to use as a mulch a major benefit was to reduce the watering on a very sandy soil. We had very little garden waste, despite clearing a large area, as the remainder was put in the compost bin. We always aim to incorporate elements including Sustainable Design and Materials, Rainwater Harvesting and Management, Recycling Materials and Considered, Soil Specific, Planting Schemes.
