I am an experienced architectural designer and project manager with a strong background in residential development. After completing my Part 1 in Architecture 10 years ago, I gained extensive hands-on experience in both design and construction. I began my career at London Heritage Properties Ltd, where I was involved in every stage of development—from sourcing properties and designing schemes to submitting planning applications and managing projects. I designed and managed three major developments, including five residential units and two four-bedroom maisonettes with basement construction. Most construction was completed in-house, with only electrical and plumbing work subcontracted. I later joined an architectural practice, contributing to 80+ projects over two years, including extensions, conversions, and large-scale new builds. I am Matteo Scarpellini, an architectural designer with a deep passion for parametric design and sustainability, which was a central focus of my dissertation for the March RIBA Part 2 qualification at the University of East London.
