I'm based in Exeter, Devon. Architectural technologist and designer. I design and prepare planning applications and building regulations packages. All my work has been approved by the authorities (planning or building control) and whenever there is a problem I work alongside the client and planners until it is solved and everyone is happy with the results. I offer all services in relation to the design from concept to supervising the construction work. This will include: 1-Building the 3D modelling of the property (this will help you to visualise the design/ internal spaces). 2-Design options for you to decide from. 3- Preparing the final drawings and documents. I'm a small practice and I don't overload myself with several projects simultaneously so I can focus on the design properly. I started my practice in 2020 and since then it has proven to be successful and clients always give me positive reviews. We have a track record of delivering exciting and innovative buildings that minimise the impact on natural resources. We place a great importance on listening to our clients needs and delivering projects, which fulfil aspirations whilst minimising the impact on the environment. While many architects remain working in 2D, we believe in working in 3D from the start of projects. Therefore all of our projects are modelled in our state-of-the-art computer aided design (CAD) software. For existing buildings, we often start the project by measuring and modelling the existing building in 3D. This enables us and clients to better understand the existing building form. From this, we can propose more coherent and practical solutions from the start than if we were working solely in 2D. For new buildings, we often start a project using a topographical survey that has been measured by an external topographical surveying company. We can use this information to better understand land form so that your building can be more carefully positioned on the site. Working in 3D from an early stage also makes the later and more technically complex stages more efficient, with changes easier to accommodate / advise on and collaboration more seamless with other project consultants.
