I offer architectural design services to suit various requirements within the design and construction industry. Working closely with other industry professionals to deliver comprehensive packages of information from initial feasibility stages through to project completion. I have a Bachelors (BArch) and a Masters (MArch) in Architecture. I now have 8 years of experience working self employed on architectural design projects in the domestic sector, working with private clients or directly for contractors. This experience has involved various local authority planning applications, prior approval planning applications, permitted development design compliance, certification of lawful development applications, building control applications with the local authority and also with approved private building control officers. I’ve assisted with serving notice for party wall agreements and resolving disputes between appointed RICS building surveyors to agree full party wall Awards and schedules of conditions where necessary. I’ve drawn up and coordinated designs with engineers for building control approval and steel fabrication intent information, as well as applying for local water board build over agreements and completing associated drainage drawings. I have over 15 years of hands-on construction experience, building my first home and renovation many more since, from new builds to rear, side and loft extensions.
