I’ve maintained my primary profession working on large scale projects ranging from £50-400m for the last 10 years, spending the last 4/5 years managing project consultant teams of up to 100 across multiple disciplines such as; structural engineers, mechanical, electrical & public health (MEP) engineers, cladding engineers, lighting designers, landscape designers, planners. Giving me a broad understanding across multiple construction trades and project stages. I am Matteo Scarpellini, an architectural designer with a deep passion for parametric design and sustainability, which was a central focus of my dissertation for the March RIBA Part 2 qualification at the University of East London. I am excited about the opportunity to work in the UK again, especially after having returned to Italy due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past two years, I have worked in Italy as a qualified "Junior Architect," developing a range of public and private projects. I moved back to UK, where I am eligible to work, eager to pursue my Part 3 qualification and advance my career.
