I graduated in Bristol with a degree in Architecture and planning in 2017 and I've been working in practice ever since. I worked for Stags for many years as a Design and planning assistant where I'd take on whole projects from concept to planning approval. Doing the survey, design proposal, drawings, realistic imagery and videos and planning documents/applications. The projects ranged from new builds to barn conversions to extensions to lodges. I'm an experienced designer and have taken the leap the work freelance, having more control over the projects I want to take on and managing my own time.

Fox Eco Architects are a design focused family run architecture practice based in Uffculme, Devon. Led by husband and wife team of Matthew and Andrea. We have a track record of delivering exciting and innovative buildings that minimise the impact on natural resources. We place a great importance on listening to our clients needs and delivering projects, which fulfil aspirations whilst minimising the impact on the environment. While many architects remain working in 2D, we believe in working in 3D from the start of projects. Therefore all of our projects are modelled in our state-of-the-art computer aided design (CAD) software. For existing buildings, we often start the project by measuring and modelling the existing building in 3D. This enables us and clients to better understand the existing building form. From this, we can propose more coherent and practical solutions from the start than if we were working solely in 2D. For new buildings, we often start a project using a topographical survey that has been measured by an external topographical surveying company. We can use this information to better understand land form so that your building can be more carefully positioned on the site. Working in 3D from an early stage also makes the later and more technically complex stages more efficient, with changes easier to accommodate / advise on and collaboration more seamless with other project consultants.
