Latest review:Architecture-Posted job in Belfast on Mybuilder, got contacted by Sean,MKArchitects within days.Had telephone call with Sean and on his suggested date he visited. When the measurements were almost done he briefly showed me the quotation,while I was assisting him since he had no suitable ladder. He even took food from our site,after few days he sent the drawings without any measurements on them and a bill of £650-design fee-£350 and visit fee £280.Before visit he had my contact details but Sean never bothered to send me any quotation before his visit(which seem very intentional later, as If I would see the visiting charges,I would never ask him. Professionals before Sean already visited me and never asked for any site visit or any charge). Nether I recieved any text from Sean nor Mybuilder that there is any quotation posted. As I was already contacted via phone by Sean I expected all direct contact me instead of my builder. Since January I am recieving email threats of recovering the bills through court for the work which has still not been completed in a professional manner even still. What is the value of design without measurements ?How will I even proceed to buy any building material or discuss with builder? So far no drawing with any measurements but only threats of court case. Is Mybuilder a platform for scams ? There were no ratings for Sean but I thought a person from NI should be reasonable rather than anyone virtual. Now this is where I am. Avoid at all costs. Not sure whatto do
