When Martin finished, he says I was on a call so couldn't say bye (fair enough) but could have left a note or sent a message, because when I discovered he had left and I looked at the work, I genuinely thought he had gone to the shops or something as it clearly wasn't finished. We had a door from the garage into the house put in with a step, which was left loose. When I questioned this he said that it was an option and he thought it was a nice idea. This doesn't make sense as this was part of the job I asked to be done, which he charged for and included on his invoice. There were other issues which made it look like a rushed job. He fitted the wrong lock, blamed the retailer but must have noticed and tried to get away with it as it clearly said "3 lever" on it when he quoted for 5 lever. There was something else I wanted doing which he basically said "not my job" so I agreed to pay extra for. He never came back to me with dates on when he could do it and ignored my texts when I chased. When he finally agreed to come and do it after I called, he texts at 9.10 when he said he'd come at 9 saying "running late" (yes I can see that) can I come at 10 or on Monday, so I said yes 10 is fine, then he says sorry Monday is better for me, I have jobs to do around the house! I questioned why I he said he would come then and he blamed a flat tyre. Unfortunately there is a word count so can't cover it all!

They installed the lintel, gave me the contact of the structural engineer, and did the job in a total of 4 working days. Dan at DBX was one of the fastest to reply, also gave me one of the best prices of all the builders I contacted. He did all the job according to building regulations and the inspector approved all the works done straight away. The communication was very good all the time and he was always replying my messages very quickly. They left everything clean after the works. Dan takes his work seriously and is great at customer service and satisfaction. I will definitely hire them for any future works

Rio was really helpful with his advice and most importantly reliable, arranged a time to come and do the work and arrived when he said (which made a really nice change from plumbers we've tried to find previously) Of course now the weather is on the turn for the better we haven't needed the heating on but we did a test and so far so good. Thank you, we'll definitely be in touch again if we needed anything else doing.
Completed the job on time, with minimal impact on the household. Kept everywhere clean and tidy. Polite and professional. We would definitely use Cummins Construction again.

Latest review:Conversions - General-Had a massive amount of work done by David and his team. 4 Chimneys removed,(all 4 rooms made good) stud walls moved and prepared for new kitchen, all the electrical and plumbing work, flooring etc. David and his team were very attentive, friendly and gave good advice which saved us money. Any little issues that arose were dealt with swiftly and professionally. I would not hesitate to use them again and would reccommend them highly!
I have hired Tom to fit some stairs in an old property I am renovating for my customer. It’s great to see a guy that is good at his job very knowledgeable and great to work with and polite. I am giving him more work on this project and I will be booking him in for on going work . I really recommend this guy .
