Latest review:Leo completely rebuilt a 200 year old sandstone wall that was collapsing. He did an excellent job and I’m sure the restoration is good for the next 200 years. He was friendly, professional and we discussed every aspect of the work from planning through to completion - a craftsman. I recommend him highly without reservation.

Latest review:Stonemasonry-Brian was able to come to assess the job very quickly, having completed a job nearby. He understood the reasons for the issue and said he could do the work the next week, weather permitting. He came on the appointed day so the whole task was completed within a week. I would refer to Brian again if the need arose.

I am also heritage trained aswell. Stonework, stone pointing, brickwork, brick pointing and tiling are all jobs that's undertaken with lots of experience in each.
Latest review:Tiling-Kevin did a great job tiling my bathroom and kitchen. Turned up when agreed and left the plane clean and tidy. I have booked him in for some more work in a few weeks time. Highly recommended

Latest review:Stonemasonry-Kris and his two colleagues did a really good job resetting and repointing my sandstone wall. Although theirs is a new business, it was clear from the outset that they have had a great deal of experience in their trade and they worked efficiently and well as a team. They arrived punctually and worked hard throughout the entire job which was completed to a very high standard. They were keen to do as good a job as possible and showed pride in the quality of their work and in the finished result. They were also unfailingly polite and very pleasant to deal with. I had some difficulty in locating professionals who were willing to work with lime mortar which, I have learned, can be trickier to use than ordinary cement but which, done well, looks better and lasts longer. I think I was lucky to find Kris and his colleagues who did a really good job for a very reasonable price. I would have no hesitation in asking Kris and co back to do any similar work I might have in the future and would recommend them unreservedly to friends. It is refreshing in this day and age to find experienced, quality builders who charge fair prices and I hope Kris and his colleagues will have the successful professional future they deserve.
