wetroom conversion with shower tray

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.46 PM

I would like to replace my wetroom with a 1100 x 800 shower tray. If i go for 800 depth then the shower unit will have to be moved which is electric. How difficult is this as there was a leak and the floor has been ripped up and replaced with ply, i wont be going for special sealed vinyl but rather have lino, anyways my concern is choosing best shower tray with a bit of plumbing working space as the existing outlet trap is nearly embeded in concrete and dosent have much space to work. need some advice or any inspections welcome

Moving the electric shower will be faily easy, but always bear in mind it must comply with building regs. The rest is a bit complicated, especially pipes embedded in concrete, this is a common problem. You have a general list of minor problems, all of which are fairly easy to cure, but you need a property refurbisher, not a plumber or a tiler of an electrician. You need the whole 9 yards so to speak. I am very happy to advise you. Regards, Paul Albright
