Rating: 5 out of 5 5510 reviewsJuro and his team completed a total refurbishment of our house that included removing all internal walls, along with a double story side extension, a huge job involving lots of steels, re-roofing, new construction, new bathrooms and kitchen, new windows and rendering along with all the plumbing and electrical work and decoration. They did the most incredible job, working efficiently, adapting to any problems that came along and working really hard to create the best finish possible at the budget we had. Despite the pandemic arriving just after the demolition stage, they didn’t miss a day on site, and worked tirelessly to get materials to keep the project moving. Incredibly they still managed to finish the project on schedule and to a standard that was exceptional. Juro is honest and upfront, didn’t ever add costs or ‘unforeseeables’ and was an absolute joy to work with. He also stuck to a very clear payment schedule that was easy to follow and always meant we only paid when we were absolutely 100% happy. My only reservation in writing this review is that I would like to selfishly hang on to him and keep his schedule clear for future jobs with family and friends!

I selected Karan after he contacted me through “mybuilder.com” website. I shortlisted 6 builders. Of the 6 builders who priced my job, I found Karan to be the most knowledgeable and credible. His proposal for my project was fairly easy to understand and delivered on the same day he visited my house, which I found impressive! I knew my project was fairly big (total cost was over £100K) and I wanted someone I could trust. Whilst Karan was not the cheapest, he was not the most expensive. I was looking for good quality work at a reasonable price. Now that the project is complete, I can say Butter Construction delivered to my expectations. Karan’s team are honest and completely reliable. There are some language barrier issues with the work force, but generally it is possible to work around this without significant problems. We had frequent and regular meetings with Karan and he did manage this without too much difficulty. Some of his guys speak good English. I was able to change scope and negotiate openly and honestly with Karen about cost changes. If I was not happy with any aspect of the work, I informed Karen and changes were agreed without fuss. When his men got things wrong, Karen simply got them to change it without trying to provide any excuses. In summary, I would not hesitate in recommending Karan/ Buttar Construction for your project.

Latest review:Extensions-Norbert and his team have transformed our house to the most amazing standard, we would recommend them to all our friends and family. The work schedule was managed so well, with minimal disruption to us with two young boys. We had a loft conversion, main bathroom renovation, utility room, downstairs toilet and a 4 meter kitchen extension. We stayed in the house whilst the work was being completed and Norbert and his team fitted in so well, it actually feels weird not seeing them in the house. They are such a lovely bunch of people. We are over the moon… on time, on budget and finished to a high standard. If we ever undertake renovation work again, Norbert and his team would be our 1st call!
