Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-PRL completed a spectacular job at my elderly, parent's house. They moved the shed (which was misplaced by previous contractor) with skill and excellence. Patrick then went over and above with a full design and garden makeover! My dad 96 yrs old and my mum aged 90 are totally over the moon. Their garden is stunning and safe for them to walk and enjoy. PRL provided a complete landscape! Before my parents struggled to manage the levels and the broken pathway in their garden. The garden was nothing to look at. Now with PRL's paving work and landscape design, it's just amazing! The lawn, drainage from the house, crowing the bayleaf tree, finishing touches-everthing you can think of! Family and friends are speechless when they see the new garden. It's like a resort of calm and beauty. PRL Groundworks Team are respectful and extremely tidy workers. The family are so pleased with the joy that has been brought to my parents. It was meant to be a gift for my mum's birthday in May, It had taken 3 years to recover from work done by rogue traders at my parent's house - Finally we found the right man for the job. They laid the patio, turf and also a concrete base for our shed. They also came up with suggestions that would make the garden look better. The result was incredible as we previously had only 6 litres a minute flow to 22 litres after changing the pipe. What truly set them apart was their commitment to cleanliness; they left the work area spotless. Although initially we asked Jake to quote for the foundation works, we were so impressed with his approach that we commissioned him to undertake the three-floor extension, including the replacement of the roof. Jake worked with a dedicated team, and we particularly liked his 'can-do' approach and attention to detail. From the outset he appreciated that we were looking for a premium finish, and he worked really hard to achieve this - going above and beyond on several occasions. We were living in our property during most of the works, and Jake's flexible, understanding and proactive way of working made such a huge difference to us; he is the tidiest builder we have ever come across! Throughout our project we always found Jake to be very approachable and happy to come up with ideas and solutions to the inevitable snags that we hit during such a big build - resulting overall in a much-improved scheme. Jake's communication is exceptional - from the earliest scheduling of key tasks through to day-to-day arrangements and forward planning.
