Latest review:Extensions-Matt of Pro Build (East) Ltd. was instructed to complete a home extension on my Victorian Mid-Terrace property at the beginning of July 2019. Matt initially replied to my MyBuilder advert promptly, came to view the job within days and could start the next week (in hindsight, probably not a good sign). He started work on the Monday, providing a quotation and an expected completion date of 3-4 weeks later for the complete extension including removal of waste, plastering and external rendering. Throughout the build, Matt's communication was prompt, replying to emails, phone calls and text messages mostly within the same day. Unfortunately, on a number of occasions problems arose with the project and I was frequently to blame for certain aspects, for example it was my fault that the roof could not have slates because the roof was built at a low pitch - however the quote included slates? The quality of workmanship throughout the build was very varied, requiring Matt and his team to return a number of times to re-do work which was deemed unsatisfactory by me, other workmen and the building inspector. There is quite often a number of excuses for why work has not been done, or why it has been done to a low standard as opposed to correcting the issue without argument. In the end, the whole build took 14 weeks to complete and remained to have a number of snagging issues, I would not personally recommend this company for larger works such as this.

Latest review:Extensions-Simon and Lee did a wonderful job on our kitchen and dining room extension (9m x 4.5m) and we are extremely happy with the result. They worked with us on all aspects of the build, accommodating changes to the design, as well as using their experience to suggest alternatives we hadn't thought of but which have really improved the functionality of our space. When fitting our kitchen they also used their carpentry skills to build us a bespoke kitchen cabinet with pocket doors, which adds a designer look to our kitchen. They kept the site tidy and were very easy to get on with. They arrived promptly each day, had excellent time keeping and our job came in on time and on budget. We highly recommend them, and have already invited them back to do more jobs for us. We hope to work with them again in the near future.

Latest review:Extensions-I cannot speak highly enough of this company. Brendan and his team did a fantastic job. They turned up when promised, rain or shine, did the work with minimum fuss and cleared up at the end of each day. Also, good communication is not something you normally get with builders and tradesmen, but Brendan was always on hand for a phonecall or text to sort out any changes or snags. I would highly recommend Facebrickwork. 5 stars *****

Extension Builder in SudburyI am a bricklayer that's now choosing to head out on my own. I'm looking to use my builder as an opportunity to expand my knowledge of the trade and start my own business. I've worked on building sites for 10 years and have had experience in general building for 6 years of that time aswell. I have experience in bricklaying with a NVQ level 2 but have also done other things such as landscaping, patios, fencing and alterations internally and externally.
