Andrew came to look at the wall to advise me on the work required, he gave me a quote for two sections of the wall, the first part required replacing damaged bricks and part rebuilding, the second repointing. Chris was quick to respond to my post and attended only a couple of days later to quote. The quote was very reasonable and I chose him for the job, based on his competitive quote, his evidenced standard of work and general personality. Chris has kept true to his word throughout the works needed (new door frames, all skirting boards - porch and living room, new floor in porch and new front door). He has unbelievable pride in his own workmanship and is incredibly trustworthy & reliable. I live in a very old property, that doesn't have a straight wall/floor in it - Chris' knowledge shone through with dealing with what may seem small to those of us untrained - he used all his 'tricks' to ensure everything was fully secure and gap free, everywhere (including his personal pride). I was able to have very honest conversations throughout, regarding the work and also additional costs to the quote (n.b. this was not significantly more, but absolutely reasonable due to additional materials) and his expectations were never unrealistic or beyond my budget, nor the conversations difficult or confrontational. I genuinely can't praise or sing Chris enough. His quality of workmanship, personal pride and outstanding personable style is a breath of fresh air. My final comment would be is that he is to be fully trusted, both professionally & personally and he will deliver you an outstanding job, whilst keeping you informed throughout, in an honest and open style. I'll recommend 100%

I have worked with a few builders during my time renovating properties and I can genuinely say Pat and Ed are two of the most professional, knowledgeable, hardworking and honest tradesmen I have come across. They quoted me a competitive price for my phase 1 works which included labour, all materials, skip hire, structural engineer and building control costs. I asked them to manage all aspects of the phase 1 renovation as well as organise the structural engineer and to deal with building control. The work included taking everything downstairs back to brickwork and replastering with bonding coat and multifinish plaster, replacing/replastering ceilings, building new stud walls, resizing window openings, removing parts of a chimney breast and knocking through between living room and dining room. They carried out all the work quickly and professionally and always went the extra mile to help out where they could. I was extremely happy with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Compared other workmen and craig was very competitive, he made the whole process easy, I was going to decorate the room myself but Craig put me at so much ease, that I gave him the whole job of plastering and decorating the room. I was worried that I wouldnt get the room done by Christmas. He promised that he would get it done. He was very prompt and the job got completed in the promised time frame. And I was very happy with the result

Nick built a porch for us. We asked for everything to be done to a quality finish. The brickwork was sound and the porch looks lovely from the outside but inside the finishing off is poor and 2 doors which cost a £1000 each were poorly fitted, (you have to push the doors to get them to lock properly). I have phoned once, text twice and emailed NIck and he responded to another text saying he would come round and have a look, that was around a month ago. My advice use another builder we did for our £50000 extension

Kevin did a good job overall with our extension. The build had many of the challenges that should be expected with an old, idiosyncratic house, plus a few others too. In particular, Kevin's wealth of knowledge and experience with traditional building methods was invaluable. His ability to solve problems and offer intelligent advice on many different aspects of the build was also hugely appreciated. The job took longer than expected but in the end the result has made it worthwhile.

Completed my driveway for me back in February they done a really good job with it, I had blockpaving with a slate block border they also put some topsoil in a couple areas around my garden for me and helped us move some plant pots which wasn’t there job, overall they was fast, tidy and professional and done it all for a good price can’t ask for a lot more to be honest
