Builder of Excellence. Hennessey and Sons. I don’t know where to begin with Mr Hennessey. I cannot recommend this chap to the standard he and his guys deserve. He will bend over backwards to aid you with ideas and guides you through reality within the build, cost and delivery. He does not tell you but works with you. We needed an annex, he interpreted our concept into reality. There is nothing this small family company cannot do and puts shame to the big boys who just over charge and run with your money. From foundations, to structure, ground works, exterior slickness, the build has been delivered. There is nothing but work of an extremely high standard. I had ordered a 16 x 8 shed but cancelled my order after seeing the standard of the annex. Chris suggested the two structures should match. So, my partner and I have now ended up with a Girl Cave running water and electricity. Our garden is tilted so the decking from the annex had to join the Shed needed to be raised. Chris and his guys just built foundations for the Shed and raised the decking as needed. Where would you get service like this without the piggy bank going on a strict diet. This project somewhat grow, We where having a little fun seeing what could actually transpire from this structural adventure. Our house is now having a facelift. Overhaul of roof and the replacement of the gutter. A roof over our utility. I could not recommend this builder high enough and that is no lie. Builder of Excellence.

Latest review:Extensions-We had our property completely modernised including rewiring new bathroom and kitchen. Gary worked with us throughout the project. With over 30years experience his knowledge was much appreciated especially in planning stage actually saving money on our original plan. While boarding loft we found roof batons required renewing this was done by Gary to very high standard. Due to age of property we also had three ceilings replaced our property now is better than we hoped for. This was all completed with friendly helpful professional workers in minimal time. Latest review:Extensions-Started work in September 2022, still waiting as of Feb 2024 for the work to be complete. Just had to have a professional Roofing Contractor here to repair the roof and correct some very amateur issues. Constantly turned up late and left early in order to take/collect his children to school. Harry his labourer is almost useless and is incapable of working under his own initiative. Charging for work that hasn't been done, and is now saying he only offers a 6 months warranty. In breach of several terms in the building plans, (was supposed to have used a contactor that could offer a minimum of 25 year warranty on a GRP roof finish, dot and dab finish in the lounge not in the plans, states float and set) Constantly moaning that he was losing money on the job, well what a surprise when is takes over 3 times as long as its supposed to. Left the premises unsecure - didn't put the gate back up, or give us a safe exit from our new extension. The list goes on. Use Lee at your own risk, but beware!
