Extremely slow service and questionable technical standards I hired Hambridge for 8 jobs, posting the request in May 2025 for a June start to allow plenty of time for tenant scheduling. Despite this, the work wasn’t completed until December 2025—a seven-month delay for what should have been a straightforward project. More concerning was the quality of the inspections. For one property with four consumer units and over 30 sockets, the "electrician" spent less than 20 minutes on-site. The power was never turned off, suggesting it was a visual-only inspection rather than the thorough testing required for a valid certificate. The resulting report was also inaccurate; they claimed I needed earth bonding on a plastic incoming gas line and recommended an MCB change, despite the units having passed two previous certifications. I eventually hired a different company who confirmed there were no issues and passed all units. I would not recommend their services

Jack was very professional. I explained my requirements and my garage wiring was transformed from a spaghetti mess into a super neat panel with all the properly rated components and everything aligned nicely. I also wanted an external EV charging socket added and this was done to include a neat lockable cabinet. Internally all my very old spotlights were replaced with fire-rated versions, my consumer panel checked out, and several new plug sockets added. There was no mess and work was completed quickly and very satisfactorily. Great value for money.
