I am not fully satisfied with the quality of the job as there were a few minor issues and a major issue where the slope was done incorrectly and would damage a car if driven over that portion. Otherwise Tom was hard to deal with at times aggressively demanding his money before the agreed payment date which should have been when the job was completed.

Latest review:Driveways (Paved & Loose)-Kevin and his team re-pointed my back garden patio, which included the leveling off of some patio slabs, which over the years had become uneven and therefore a hazard. I am very pleased with the end result. Kevin's team also dug up the block paving driveway,which had been laid badly many years earlier and which we had inherited on buying our house. He salvaged as many of the old mono- blocks as possible and mixed them with new mono-blocks of a different color and when relaying the driveway were able to extend it in size, using the different colored mono-blocks to create an attractive pattern in such a way that the finished product did not look 'odd'. By making use of the old mono-blocks, it helped minimize the cost of materials. Again, Kevin and his team did an excellent job (sometimes in heavy rain) and I was delighted with the finished product. My only concern was that when quoting for this job, Kevin had not lifted one of the old blocks to check its dimensions and so part way through the job discovered that the old mono-blocks were of non-standard dimensions and so were more expensive than he had quoted for. I decided to agree to an extra cost, to get the job done, but it meant that what I actually paid, was 20% more than what I had originally been agreed to. In fairness however, Kevin did have to travel to north wales apparently, to source new mono-blocks which matched up with the size of my old ones. Still very pleased with the final outcome. Happy to recommend K & R.

Mr Ball of Turnaround Driving and Landscaping specialist was parfticularly helpful. In my view, some of the flags on the pavement of Ivor House needed lifting and I arranged with Mr Ball twice for this to be done. There were, however, residents of Ivor House who objected strongly and refused to agree to this work, even though I was prepared to pay for the work myself. I therfore had top cancel twice and Mr Ball very kindly agreed not to charge anything, even though I was prepared to pay him for his time. He impressed me very much and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him and use him in the furture.
