Latest review:Carpentry-We had our flat door sanded down and repainted. There was real attention to detail, which we appreciated, with the wood surround restored and the door stripped back to it's original features. They were quick and efficient throughout the day, trying to keep the dust and noise to a minimum, so really respectful. The final product was perfect until we tried to close the door at night. The top coat was an oil based paint, which takes hours to dry so it was probably put on too late in the day. So some of the paint has come off and we need to sort it out ourselves (a relatively easy fix), but the top coat should ideally have to been put on the following morning as per the original plan. I would still recommend Jack's Solutions.

Latest review:Joinery & Cabinet Making-Absolutely excellent work from Chris, again. He understood what I wanted, made appropriate suggestions, was patient when I asked for last minute changes (and managed to do them!) and completed the work to an excellent standard. Communication was great throughout, he gave realistic and accurate timescales, and he tidied up after himself (far better than I do). I am completely delighted with the work he has done and would not hesitate to use Take Root again.
