Latest review:Conversions - General-We are really pleased with the work completed by Adrian and Keighly. From the initial quote and vision they created for us (we weren't exactly sure if the job was possible) they were professional, friendly and worked really hard to get the job done whilst we were on holiday. The furniture and floors were well protected and they kept us in the loop with progress pictures throughout. We are very pleased with our new downstairs toilet and utility area and are already planning our next project with TK home improvements! I would highly rate them in all areas from the standard of work to being fairly priced and lastly just as lovely people! Thank you so much guys we can't wait to see you both soon.
Ray and his team did a great job knocking through from our oiving room to the back room. He did this in a timely, friendly and professional manner. We are really pleased with the result.

I then set up, my own self employed business. I learn't unexpected skills, whilst building my own home, from a dis-used workshop, especially, many aspects of drainage! Have improved so many homes, adding extensions, garage conversions, garden walls, etc, etc I always give fair prices and as I am physically strong, I work hard.
Latest review:Conversions - General-Ryan did an amazing job, this also became multiple other jobs, helping us to realise our full ground floor renovation. Ryan removed a further 2 walls, re plastered and configured our living chimney breast and fireplace. He removed our existing ground floor flooring and prepared the floor ready for levelling, he also supported with repairing walls after the electrical work had been completed and remove and patch where old coving had been. He did extensive work and decorated the ground floor support with all other tradesman. He also redid our cloakroom shower on the second floor. Ryan did an excellent job and was incredibly reliable and diligent about the work. We’re extremely happy with the results. Amazing job!

Latest review:Conversions - General-Steve and his team arrived on site at the agreed time and immediately started work. Everything completed as planned, they laid protective covers over all carpets, took away all rubbish, hoovered all areas they had been working in. A very professional team, first class finish, absolutely no issues. I have already passed Steve's details onto a friend who is looking for some work to be done. I can't recommend Goodwin's highly enough, if 10 Stars were an option on this site they would get that. Nothing was too much trouble, on the day Steve actually added some additional electrical work that I had not thought of but made perfect sense, thank you :) I am sure I will be contacting them again for my next project, once you have found a trust worthy professional contractor, why would you look anywhere else. Latest review:Conversions - General-Chris and his team built a stud wall to split one of our bedrooms into two rooms. We are so pleased with the finish result, Chris made it look like the rooms were always meant to be split. His attention to detail was excellent, managing to get the same door, door surrounds and even handle to match existing. Very clean and tidy work, would definitely recommend and we’ll be using him again for any future building works.

I have an autistic adult daughter who was constantly all day asking questions and watching them, I apologised but they were so good with her saying she was no bother. I will definitely be asking in the future if I need anymore work done. Thank you guys you made the process so easy and quick.

He gave us a competitive quote, and was happy to take our views and requirements on board. His team were punctual, polite and hard working, arriving at 7.45 each morning and usually knocking off at six, and working on Saturdays and even one Sunday. Despite some initial teething problems over some of the supplies that were sourced, Sel was always flexible about solutions and even absorbed the additional cost of a change in the flooring. We felt that he pushed the timeline quite hard, which meant a few follow up visits to get the right finish, but the amount achieved in the few weeks was very impressive, and to be fair, there was additional work required when it was discovered that the ceiling also had to come down, which was quoted separately but added to the job list with no delays. There were no complaints from him or his team about the limited snagging list; everything was resolved with no fuss. We have worked with several builders on projects large and small and we would definitely say that Sel and his team are one of the two best, both of whom are head and shoulders over the rest. We have now asked him to provide a quote for a reasonably large extension, which reflects our satisfaction with his work, and we would happily recommend him to others. Our only advice would be to be really clear on your expectations around materials at the outset to avoid any confusion or delays later on.
