Latest review:Bricklaying-I hired Lewis to build a retaining wall a little over 9 metres long that was needed for a parking space. He explained what was needed and sorted the materials (finding bricks that matched an existing adjacent wall). His cost breakdown was helpful, with no hidden costs or surprises. He turned up exactly when promised and his workmanship is excellent. He takes pride in his work and is very tidy. His cost estimate was exactly what the job ended up costing, and he sorted a few issues found with no fuss. I've been really impressed and I've recommended him to some friends and my family. I'd not known Lewis prior to MyBuilder, but he'll be my first choice in future. The wall looks great, and even better, he was by far the least expensive of all quote I got. Nice guy, and 100% recommended.
Kev and his team have done an amazing job, they helped us to overcome difficulties regarding scaffolding. Kev was reasonably priced and no hidden extras. I would highly recommend Kev for any building work required.
Mark and his team always turned up promptly when they said they would. The job was completed efficiently (it took just over a week) and to a very high standard. Mark is an excellent communicator and understood our requirements very quickly. He clearly has substantial experience in the construction industry which really shone through with the ideas he proposed to make our design even better. He responded to my posting promptly, came up with good constructive suggestions, offered a fair price and then did a terrific job. I'm sure my archway is stronger now than it ever was. I strongly recommend JDL brickwork and he will be my first choice for any similar projects in future.
