Kit came to repaint the house and remove any bad paint and fill any exposed wall. Kit was very communicative, turned up when he said he would, and worked extremely hard around the weather (which wasn’t ideal). He was always open and honest about the inevitable issues that crop up with a job like this and alway gave a couple of good ideas and options to fix whilst also being conscious of budget. Would 100% recommend.

They were hired to rectify the subpar work of a previous contractor. The previous builder had installed a pocket door system but failed to include any doors or construct the system properly. However, C. Oakes and Sons confidently assured us they could assist in installing the four pocket doors despite these issues. They successfully installed all four doors and sourced parts to create doorstops, as none had been incorporated into the system. We were very pleased with their work and will definitely engage their services again in the future.

Adam and Chris were super when we were collecting quotes for the job, and very responsive to our queries and concerns. There were Brexit, pandemic, and building-regs related delays to starting, and completing, the job, but Adam and Chris always did as much as they could at the time. As did the other guys working for them - a decent bunch of lads. Overall the job was completed to a decent standard and we're happy with the majority of the finish; only problems relate to the plumbing side of the project which are a bit of an annoyance (nothing goes perfectly though, does it?). In short, would we use them again? Yeah.

I am very happy to recommend L S Builders following their three and a half days work with us recently. They removed old rendering from an exterior wall, primed and re-rendered it and painted it with three coats of Santex. The result is very pleasing and throughout their time with us they were professional and meticulously tidy. Both Stewart and Louis are friendly and very hard working and I would confidently recommend them to others.
