Work History

I began my career in flat roofing in 2005 for a large company based in glouster. The company specialised in installing Firestone EPDM to a wide variety of commercial flat roofs. During this time I had the privilege of working on some fantastic sites including the Olympic Village, BMW Oxford and Honda Swindon. The work carried out by our team was always to a very high standard and was always inspected by Firestone for completion. The company also worked on smaller projects such as large private garages and extensions especially in the Cheltenham area. With this wide range of experience I found that my interests lay with the residential side of Firestone RubberCover and that is how Wiltshire Flat Roofing was developed. The residential side is much more rewarding as it gives homes the finishing touch required and can be easily appreciated.

Qualifications & Accreditations

Staring my career in a large company gave me the opportunity to attend a wide variety of training required to become a firestone recognised fitter. I have attended all the relevant training required to work on any building site including health and safety and have also attended a First Aid course. My main skills involve all different aspects of roof restoration including the decking, drip edges and installation of Firestone Rubber Cover to a high standard. The fitting of fascia boards, guttering and lead work are also involded in the process of completing a project.
