I hired Tony on the basis of the feedback on this site, his list of skills which were pertinent to this job and his very competitive quote which itemised everything including different options for work on a ceiling in an old cottage! He had a clear understanding of what problems might appear. Tony replaced a ceiling, plastered varying size patches on the walls, revamped a cupboard and completely redecorated my dining room. He always arrived on time and worked solidly throughout the day, was tidy and friendly and listened to what I wanted. The final bill exactly matched the quote so there were no surprises. He’s done a great job and I have asked him without hesitation to quote me for further work. I’d be confident in recommending him to anyone else.

We needed the painting done in a bit of a hurry. Tony came out to quote and got back to me straight away with a price (which helpfully came as inclusive or exclusive of materials and was completely transparent). Tony told me when he could do the work and he actually came when he said he would, which is just so rare these days. He was no bother to have around the house; organised in the way he worked (painting a couple of rooms so moved from to the other), tidied up after himself and seemed to be on the go the whole time he was here (i.e. not sorting out a hundred other jobs whilst doing mine!). Parking is very hard in our road and he had to keep moving his van which he did so uncomplainingly even though it must have been a bit inconvenient. We thought the price quoted was really good value, we are really pleased with the work (Tony offered to come back and do any snagging but there hasn't been any) and I felt totally comfortable having Tony in the house. Tony is coming back to fit a shower screeen (which I had failed to order in time) and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Fantastic work and very accommodating. Tony was punctual and extremley diligent with the work undertaken, was clean and tidy with both the painting and brick work. I would not hesitate in using Tony again and he was also very competitive with his quote. A top chap who I would reccomend to friends and family.

Tony did a great job, it's an old house so not a completely straightforward job. We had a blip along the way which was down to a sub-contractor not Tony and it was pretty easily resolved. The end result was fantastic, really pleased and would recommend.

Tony did a number of small jobs around the house including hanging curtain rails, mounting wall cabinets, speakers, towel rails and a TV stand, fastening wardrobes to the wall, creating and installing internal shelves and an internal hanging rail - all the wall drilling work which requires precision and good power tools. He also touched up a few walls with some plastering and painting.
He was very pleasant to deal with, on time, meticulous about his work and more importantly, tidy. He cleaned up the areas which he drilled and did other works in. Everything he has installed has so far has been quite sturdy and neat. Very happy with his work and would hire again.

We hired Tony to do some work on doors and an electric socket in our flat. He did a great job and we are very happy. Tony turned up on time and was up front about costs at all times. And he's a nice bloke too! Recommended.

I had some self adhesive planks that I bought but was too afraid to attempt the job myself. The vinyl planks were of high quality and the plan was to lay this down in the kitchen. Tony was the first to quote and was able to do the job very quickly much to my delight. Just in time for Christmas. His price was within my budget and very competitive. He arrived promptly. He worked with precision, especially around tricky corners. The planks are solid and the kitchen has been transformed. We have other jobs that we are planning to use Tony for. I would highly recommend him. If you want efficiency, quality workmanship, reliability and a friendly person then he is your man.
