    Bathroom to be refurbished / replaced

    Mentor and his team just finished refurbishing our large family bathroom and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They were very clear on what needed to be done and costs, kept us updated throughout the project and showed / explained each step to us. Everything was done quickly and looks amazing, all within agreed time frame and budget. They also took care of getting a plumber and electrition in as needed all within the original quote. They were really friendly and polite. They went the extra step to help us identify a leak coming from above and fix the issue. The quality of the work looks great and we would definitely hire them again!!

    Small new bathroom to be fitted w12

    Unprofessional and a cowboy builder - Avoid avoid using Valentino at all costs. We had Val, Menas nephew claiming he could fit a bathroom and from start to finish it was a shambles. He had no idea what he was doing, the hanging loo was fitted so low it would have been suitable in nursery (14 inches off the floor), the towel radiator was fitted like a rad, he didn't have a van so we had to fetch and deliver all his materials every day, he agreed on a quote to include disposal and removal of all rubbish and building debris and refused to take it, he got LED strip lights fitted but they don't switch on or off from the wall switch, he wouldn't paint the door frame inside the bathroom claiming it wasn't part of the bathroom refit, and this week we discovered there was water leaking from the mains pipes to the basin unit he fitted a few weeks ago which has damaged two flats below ours. Do not use this man to do any building work he should stick to what he can do which is tiling only!

    "Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I am very sorry you felt the work was unsatisfactory. We always ensure our work is completed to the highest standard and one that tightly follows the clients brief. This includes the supply of material (which you wanted to supply) When job started you asked us to do delivery and buy materials to complete the job ! You also refuse to pay for the materials (receipt was provided ) There was a van parked in your yard we paid you £25 for parking per day ! waste disposal (which we had agreed would be an additional cost should you want us to dispose of it)The toilet was fitted at a industry height (400mm) and was re-fitted upon your request (500) On the quote was refit radiator once we finished u asked the changed height which we did it with no extra ! You asked us to tile kitchen for free (we refuse)u said I will leave negative feedback! Electrical work was carried out by a different contractor that you supplied. All plumbing work is carried out by a fully qualified plumber and was inspected, tested and found to be fully functional. This is the first time I've heard that you had subsequent problems with the plumbing, had you contacted me first, we would have been happy to rectify the problem. We have always been proud of our reputation and, up until now, our 100% satisfaction reviews has been testament to that. I'm very sorry you don't share the the opinions of everybody else we have carried out work for. "

    Tiling part of the bathroom wall

    Very Happy with the job they did with my new bathroom, always in time, hard working and polite. I will use them again if needed in the future and I take this opportunity to recommend them to anyone..... Sandro

    Grouting and sealant replacement

    Was quick to respond my advert. We had initial problems with communication. Mentor worked hard to rectify the situation and the end result was good.

    Replace cracked bathroom tiles

    Mentor repaired a few cracked bathroom tiles for me. He did a great, professional job. Responded to all my queries beforehand and helped explain what the issue was that created the cracks in the first place. The repair job was done quickly, the new tiles blend in perfectly with the old ones and the bathroom was left tidy.

    Reptile bathroom and painting

    Great job. The tiling was even and perfectly spaced and really well cut round the difficult edges. He also did extra jobs in the flat like filling in holes in the wall where a radiator cover had been ripped off the wall. I was really down about the terrible state tenants had left my flat, but he really helped sort things out.

    Various bathroom parts fixing

    Mentor was very professional. Explained the works he's doing throughout. He was punctual and finished job on time with no delays. I would use his service again!
