Martin (main contact) provided a first class service. The work was completed on time and to budget. He was flexible and willing to change plans according to our needs. He had a very good network of people who can carry out any work we required. The quality of finish was very good. He turned a two bedroom property into three bedrooms and conducted general refurbishment. He also created a MDF storage cupboard, to a fantastic look and feel. He was always on hand to offer advice and alternative options. He was a very trusted advisor and we would defintaley use him again and recommend to others. Khalid

Our 1920s north London house required complete renovation and structural changes to create a more spacious, open-plan, contemporary environment with a natural flow. We knocked through the kitchen into the conservatory, moved the living room doors and reconfigured the bathroom. All the windows, wiring and plumbing were replaced. Walls were re-plastered, wooden floors sanded and sealed, original doors hand-stripped and repainted, skirting boards and door furniture were entirely replaced. Martin made various fitted storage cupboards for several of the rooms. The structural work involved an engineer and we also employed an architect to help put together a schedule of works. In all other respects we project-managed the job ourselves, liasing directly with Martin, who was always available to speak and showed great patience. We've used various builders in the past and Martin's team were in a different league. The quality of the work was high, with attention to detail. His plumber and electrician were extremely professional, sorting out the many problems we had, explaining what had to be done and why. His tiler and decorators did a brilliant job, too. The house looks and feels totally transformed. The work was completed on time and to budget. We found Martin and his team extremely friendly, professional and keen to do a good job. We've recommended them to friends.

Martin and his team are excellent. Inevitably, the project has turned out to be more complicated than originally thought-converting a large two-bed flat into a three bed/two bath flat. We have needed to completely rewire, replumb and replaster, as well as build walls, fit a kitchen, install two bathrooms, aoundproof and sand floors and repaint. Martin's team are incredibly hard-working and professional - it's rare to come across a team that are prepared to work at weekends, as well as be on site and working from 8.30am everyday. There are always problems and glltches in a building project - but Martin and I have been in contact by phone/text/email and face to face almost every day-in other words, once the project starts, he is completely involved with the everyday building process - and always replies to messages immediately. This is a professional firm, with an excellent team behind them. I will certainly use them again.

Martin and his team did a fantastic job in replacing some damaged floorboards in our lounge/ reception room and hallway and then sanding and varnishing the boards that had been hidden for years under carpet. No mess, look beautiful - we are very pleased with the result - HIRE HIM!

Outstanding, I fully recommend using Starlet Building. Martin completed a complete refit of my bathroom; removing the existing suite, installing a new one, tiling, painting and rewiring. He also did a renovation of my kitchen; replacing the floor, installing a new worktop, installing new appliances and renovating the cupboard doors. The entire experience with Martin and his builders has been positive from start to finish. The initial quote was concise, detailed and any ammendments discussed in person prior to the work proceeding. The work has been conducted in an extremely clean, efficient and speedy manner, to the time scale originally stated in the quote. The standard of work has been high throughout, and Martin has been constantly on hand to supervise his contractors and answer my questions. Both Martin and his employees provide an extremely professional, courteous and reliable service to a high standard. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

I would highly recommend Martin. His time-keeping is brilliant, he does good work, if there are any problems he is quick to rectify them... He is everything you want in a builder. I'm an architect and Martin has done work according to my plans - he's done a bathroom for me with electrics, plumbing, carpentry, plastering and tiling. He's also completely refurbished a kitchen for me with carpentry, plastering, tanking, tailing and decorating. In my profession I've worked with a lot of builders who quite frankly don't care about anything, but Martin is extremely conscientious. My clients are happy and I would absolutely recommend Martin.
