Eddie did the job without any fuss at our agreed price. I've used Eddie before for jobs and he is always reliable, quick at starting, good communication and I will use him again.

didn't do the job in the end! didn't turn up due to inclement weather, but ommited to tell their pensioner customers that they wouldn't be due to weather. all this would have taken was a phone call!!

I hate leaving a negative review but with so many issues I have to. The job was to paint 8 internal doors skirtings & surrounds, kitchen & ensuite walls & ceiling. Eddie quoted a very good price for the job. I prep'd everything inc sugar soaping surfaces & moved furniture so everything was easily accessible. I left Eddie to get on with couple of days. Once complete I found the hall carpet had 6 white paint stains & the woodwork hadnt been masked off & paint on some of the wallpaper. I wasnt too worried as it looked a good job apart from this. I called Eddie & told him about the carpet. He came out with a rusty tin of something a green scourer & a cloth, I asked him to leave it after getting rust & green dye on the carpet! I noticed more & more issues! My kitchen & bathroom floors are covered in paint speckles its obvious that a dust sheet hadnt been used or if it was wasnt covering all of the floors. There are paint smudges door handles, paint speckles on bathroom mirror shower doors, large paint splashes on the kitchen light & the speaker in the livingroom. I'm reluctant to call him out to fix this after the attempt at the hall carpet. If it was only a couple of things I wouldn't have bothered with this review but it has angered with the sheer carelessness & could have been rectified at the time if it had been done or checked properly. If you want work done at a great price then go for it but if you want things to be done right maybe make sure you tell him!

Got Eddie to fix our fence which was wrecked after bad weather. Job was finished in couple days and we are very happy with work carried out. Price was also reasonable. I would highly recommend Eddie for any jobs. I will be using Eddie again in the future for any DIY needs. Heather & Stuart Hatch

Eddie handled our extensive surface preparation/painting project with consistent courtesy, openness and honesty from start to finish. His quote was extremely reasonable but none of us expected the finished product to reflect a level of workmanship that truly deserved a much higher price tag. Our freshly plastered, traditional and high kitchen walls and ceilings with difficult access posed no problem at all for Eddie of Space Improvers. The level of finish around corners and over difficult obstacles on the wall was exemplary, the freshly painted woodwork was now smooth and crisp white, the evenness of the paint finish is fantastic. Our family were excited to see the finished product, but we had expected to wait at least seven days. Instead, and to all our surprise, Eddie had completed our project in three days and with an attention to detail that left all our prepared and painted surfaces revived and like new again. The kitchen and bathroom was left clean and ready to use immediately, unlike other decorating firms who have previously left our property a disgusting mess. From receiving our quote from Eddie, we were entirely impressed with his honesty, openness and technical knowhow of what this job would entail and what it would cost. Everything that we would expect from a painting and decorating company was satisfied at a fraction of the cost, in much less time and with a lot less fuss and disruption. We will be using Space Improvers again.

Eddie was very polite and professional, and did a great job of painting our roofline. Kept us updated as to when the work would be done, turned up as arranged, and all for a very competitive price. I will definitely call again for any future work. Many thanks Eddie.
