Gary and his team were working at the surgery for in excess of eighteen months, which was the planned amount of time. During that time he worked on, and project managed, our large twelve room, single-storey extension (with foundations for a second storey in time). This was built around a new courtyard. During this time, Gary had to work very closely with our then Practice Manager, and our Senior Partner, and he formed a close working relationship with all of us, although for most of the day to day running of the project he dealt with me. Gary also became something of a "knight in shining armour" as, even if we had problems in other parts of the surgery that were nothing to do with his extension, he was always glad to help us. The project was finished on time, and within budget. This was the second extension that Gary had built for the surgery, the first being before my time working there so clearly, both the Architect, and the doctors, were very happy to have him back.
