I employed this builder in late November when we signed a contract and the work started in early December with an estimate on completion being given as 2 weeks. I was reassured after a thorough site visit by Paul Tyson that the quote given was realistic and no extra monies would be required. It was explained to Paul that the concrete bases would be used as a base for a log cabin summer house and garden shed and needed to be level. I have paid Paul £4700 of the original £5000 and have 2 concrete bases which are not level, the larger one being 350mm out front to back and 200mm side to side, the smaller being 100mm out. As a result they are unfit for purpose. The remainder of the contracted work has not been completed and I have a back garden that looks like a building site. Paul has been refusing to return any calls, text messages or messages on mybuilder.com. As a result I am having to resort to legal advice and action to resolve this most unsatisfactory issue. I have been left with a very bitter taste in my mouth and a £4700 hole in my finances. I only hope that Paul sees reason of tries to re-enter negotiations and resolves the issues without resorting to legal action. If I had known then what I know now I would never have hired Paul and would have gone for a more experienced builder.

Paul is a professional. He's very keen and goes the extra mile. I found him to be really amiable. He was on time and turned up when he said he would. He was clean, tidy and conscientious. His prices were reasonable, so I would use him again and definitely recommend him to others.

We was looking to have a front garden wall built, 25 meters in length and a meter high, we wanted it built quite quickly, PT builders came out and gave us a resonable quote and were able to start the job quickly, as requested. The wall was built to a high standard and the guys who carried out the work were very friendly and professional at all times. Overall we are very happy with the service we received from PT Builders and would recommend them to others.
