Work History

I started work on building sites in 1977 as a labourer and worked on construction sites all over yorkshire and the humber regions learning different aspects of the trades and eventually reached a good level of workmanship through out the industry, in 1984 i completed a government sponsored bricklaying course, i spent a number of years bricklaying for a number of construction sites nation wide until early in 1989 i went into partnership with my brother and brother-in-law and traded as MPM Building services, all three of us attended a year long business night school course in business and management to give our selfs the relevant skills needed to run our business, we went on to complete various projects through out the UK with the majority of the work being done in the north of England, we offered a complete start to finish building service and sub contracted the necessery trades to do the jobs we were not qualified to do ourselvs, in 1996 my brother-in-law emigrated to Australia and my brother decided to venture into financial services, at that point i renamed the company B&R Property services and have worked with my son ever since and still continue to use the same trades people as before, i have continued to maintain the same level of workmanship through out my business career.
