Agreed a fixed price for the project however every few days, Dan was contacting me regarding extra costs he was adding threatening to stop work if I did not pay. He over ran his scheduled completion date by 2 months. Became very aggressive if I questioned anything or if did not agree to things his way. Building Control had numerous issues regarding the safety of his work. Incorrect positioning of beams, unsupported joists and walls. Always blamed someone else for his mistakes. I gave them a set of my door keys. They lost them and broke into my property and changed the locks without notifying me. That evening I could not get in as he had changed the locks. I am diabetic and required my medication which was inside. Dan declined to come and open the door for me. When fitting lights in the en suite, one of the lights was incorrectly positioned within the shower enclosure. Dan insisted this was ok despite the manufacturers instructions clearly stating that it should not be placed in a direct water area showing he did not care about my safety. Personal items went missing. Both neighbours had issues with Dan. Dan blamed a neighbours pipe for a build up of water in my garden and told my neighbour to dig up his kitchen flooring to change the sewage pipe. Thames Water came and checked and there were no issues with my neighbours pipe. Fitted a very wonky rear door. Has not provided gas/electric certificates making me wonder whether his team are qualified. Has left a lot of mess.

Dan is professional and keeps his word. He was quick to sort out problems as they arose and worked hard to produce a very good end result.

I would strongly recommend Dan for any work that is required. He is excellent to work with - delivers high quality standards on time, and is a great partner for helping a project move forward. The space that is our kitchen was previously an original old extension with lower ceiling in very poor condition. The old kitchen was a very small windowless room at the corner of the existing house. The corner of the house was taken out, and 2 major RSJs but in place. The ceiling was taken out in the rear space, brackets put into the roofing, and the space opened up with skylights, etc. Dan also but in a a new toilet, and utility space has been built too. A Bi-fold door opening was also expanded, new lintels put in. And the window above where our sink now is changed where it was previously a door. He has completely rewired all the downstairs, re-plumbed in all the new radiators and completed pipe works for kitchen, bathroom and utility room, moved and replaced the boiler and water tank into the garage, and redone all flooring from front door to back of the house. We also dropped a lot of extra requests on him, like extra lighting, renovating the hallway, new extra tiling in our bathroom, etc. All jobs were picked up and incorporated with minimum fuss. I would happily recommend Dan to work on any job. He has been great to deal with and all building works have been delivered to a very high standard. We would be happy to show anyone the work that Dan has done.

Absolutely thrilled with the results and would have no hesitation in recommending Dan and his team. I am actually planning to re-book them for more work later in the summer. They were very professional and the work was carried out within budget (which was extremely competitive and reasonable to start with). Always turned up on time, were polite, courteous and tidied up afterwards.

I took a chance on Dan and am very pleased that I did. He did an amazing job, very professional. His work ethic was great, his prices very fair as well as on budget and the standard of work was high. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him and as a matter of fact he's coming back to do some more work.

I was looking for a builder to do plastering and painting in 1 of the rooms in my house. Dan is very kind and polite guy I had a looked his profile and previous job by photos, this reason I gave him a job. First job was plastering and painting. He came to work early and on time, good job, finished on time and on my budget. After finished the first job I did not hesitated to give him another job. The recent job he did, the built in wardrobe, it was good job, I'm happy with it.
