Review left on 6 Aug 2025Rating: 5 out of 5Continuous slatted fencePaul was friendly and courteous and gave us a very good quote on our new fence. The job was completed quickly and to a high standard. There was some conflict with the neighbour regarding the existing fence posts but he promptly dealt with the issue and offered to repair the damage. Our neighbour was satisfied with the repairs. I would definitely recommend Paul and his team.Review from Roman Flourendzou, Hertford Roman Flourendzou, Hertford

Review left on 25 Jun 2023Rating: 1 out of 5Landscaper required for planting, levelling and bordersNot impressed with his service. The borders he planted look very poory 10 minths on in comparison to the ones i planted. Not only that the kerbstones are all broken, he said he would come back and help with adding mulching - never did. Also one of the trees planted has had one of the stems die. I dont leave reviews easily but he never did rectify the issues and truth be told my amature planting looks tens times bettet and hasnt died!Answer from tradesperson:
I find it quite strange to receive negative feedback after 10 months when the client decides they are now not happy. The garden was planted up beautifully and in the clients own words " This is exactly what we wanted, love it" I still have the message dialogue thread! I can't and will not be held responsible for any planting that has perished during one of the harshest winters to have hit the UK. I lost many specimens myself! To be held accountable for a tree stem dying is utterly unfair as I have no idea of how you cared for your new planting that was also planted during one of the hottest summers on record ! Whilst still working in the garden after the trees were planted I did advise you to up your watering. Lack of care your end does not mean you can pass the blame on to myself. Every plant, tree and shrub were of the highest vigour and you expressed on many occasions your joy on the outcome. The kerbstones did not form any part of the contract of works states in your job description. This was an additional extra and we both agreed the best way to proceed with this when we both discovered there was insufficient depth on the verge to sink them deeper because the road footings breached your land. We agreed to continue in the manor in which we did. This was with the clients agreement and the works were carried out as instructed and you were fully aware that we could not obtain maximum depth. I just find it extremely strange that after 10 months you choose not to like it!

Review left on 14 Jun 2023Rating: 1 out of 5Garden makeover(Updated on 25 Jun 2023)Paul did not finish the job. I was quoted for, and paid for, a full garden makeover. We had a mutually agreed change, that resulted in a materials delay, and this was used as an excuse to not finish the job. 1/3 of the garden was completed to a high standard. The other two thirds are exactly as before. Of course I am unhappy with how it has been left.Answer from tradesperson:
Hi, I'm glad you recognise the high standard of my work. Unfortunately my changed the works a few weeks into the project I was instructed not to develop a patch of land as they now wish to pour footings and a self contained annex built which was to be advertised on Air BnB as an extra source of income. There was no mutual agreement regarding the changes, my client suggested she might get one of her friend's to drop off lorry loads of chippings to cover the area that was not to be developed during the interim period of the annex build. As a gesture of good will I offered to help her move the chippings if she could get them to site whilst I was still on the project we still had 3 weeks to go so plenty of time for her to arrange with her friend. Unfortunately after various reminders my end the client failed to get them on site. I finished the project to an extremely high standard and submitted my invoice. My client was over the moon with my work and kindly paid me. Over 3 months later after completion of works I receive a message to say the chippings have now been dropped off come and do it!! I explained to my client that over 3 months had passed and naturally I was on another project making another stunning garden. I explained I would not be available for 3 weeks and obviously this was not good enough hence the feedback. Barrowing chippings was not on the remite at all and I was going to do it as a gesture of good will having already honoured an estimate over 12 months old!

Review left on 5 May 2023Rating: 5 out of 5New lawnWe couldn’t be happier with the work Paul did for us over two weeks in April. He disposed of the previous astroturf lawn and foundations, remodelled and rebuilt our raised beds (the previous sleepers were found to be beginning to rot), carried out some patio repair and minor reshaping and laid new grass and edging. In doing this, the overall shape, space and appearance of the garden is greatly improved and we are already seeing more birds returning. We were very impressed by the speed and quality of the work carried out by Paul who was a pleasure to have around and count ourselves very lucky he responded to our job posted on this website.Review from angela99456, Waltham Abbey angela99456, Waltham Abbey

Review left on 22 Feb 2023Rating: 5 out of 5Small city garden in need of a faceliftPaul was incredibly and immediately responsive and made an appointment for a site visit within 24 hours He was able to give an accurate quote because he totally got what was needed and what would be tricky. There were no surprises. He had some great ideas and creative solutions. He has made a beautiful patio and a fantastic blank canvas for us to get planting. He knows plants too and could have totally designed the whole space. Maybe we should have let him?? Strongly recommend!!!Review from user_fh9, Swiss Cottage, London user_fh9, Swiss Cottage, London
