I had a request for a custom desk that fits snug into my wall, around a radiator and angled to not stick out against the patio doors next to it. Matt had no problem with the spec and created an amazing two person desk for me which looks amazing. It's clear to anyone who see's it's made for the space and it achieves looking amazing while not being the centre of attention at the same time, which is exactly what we wanted. The wood itself looks great, and the wall fittings give an extra level of reassurance with us using the desk for heavy PC equipment. Thank you, Craig

MJC Joinery is a wonderful company to hire. The quality of work is excellent and to a very high standard. They are very clean and every day when packing up for the day they cleaned up after themselves which was wonderful. We have hired builders in the past who did not show up, whose workmanship left a lot to be desired and who also left our home a mess. This was not the case with Matt and his team, they were clean, trustworthy and went the extra mile for us. I have already recommended them to several friends because I trust them to do a good job. I can't praise them enough as we are delighted with them. All I can say is thank you so much and if you want someone you know will be there when they say and do a top quality finish hire Matt and his team. :)

HIRE THEM NOW!! Matt and his team did a fantastic job for us. They were prompt, reliable, courteous, trustworthy, cleaned up after themselves every day and did a professional job. They worked methodically - plumbing all put in on one day, all the electrical preparation on another day etc. Any changes from the original plans (either because we changed our minds or because surpirses were revealed as walls and layers were stripped away) were all managed with a smile. They could have taken the easy option on a couple of occasions, but actually proposed a solution which meant a bit more work for them but a better result for us (without additional charges). Our bathroom looks great, is fully functional and I love it! Thanks especially to Ian for his patience with the mosaics!! I wouldn't hesitate in using Matt and his team again.

Matt and Dan have just completed a two storey extension on our house. We really touched lucky when we chose this firm. They were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were here early of a morning and leaving late in the evening, sometimes without even a break. You don't get many builders like these. We are over the moon with the work they have carried out, they are perfectionists. We made some changes to the build and it just wasn't a problem to Matt. There are so many building firms out there that obviously it is a gamble when you hire one of them as you just don't know how it is going to pan out. I would never use anybody else other than Matt and Dan to do anything in my home again. They are coming back to do the garden, they can do anything. I hope people do get in touch with MJC Joinery as you will not be disappointed.

For the duration of the work Mat and Danny never failed to arrive promptly and always worked hard! The standard of work from brickwork to the joinery, roof etc. to plastering was of a really good standard. They never failed to clean up at the end of every working day and were unfailingly good natured despite us throwing in some changes as we went which Mat took in his stride. The brickwork on our 2 storey extension is so good the building inspector had to ask us where the extension started and our original house ended! In short I would recommend MJC Joinery to anyone and would certainly have them back. Mat made what could have been a traumatic experience as stress free as possible.
