I was initially very impressed with the approach to the job that Derek took. The job started well and there was good progress over the first few days. Then I noticed that the workmen were throwing rubbish over my fence into the wild area to the rear of my property. I contacted Derek and he did sort that but not before it was remarked upon by my neighbours which was extremely embarrassing. The last part of the job was carried out while we were on holiday and involved the laying of our artificial grass. When we returned we noticed there were several joins in the grass when we had been told that this had been specifically measured to avoid joins. When I contacted Derek I was told this would mesh together in time. After several months where these joins started to separate I sought the advice of a specialist in artificial grass who advised me that no less than 4 off-cuts of artificial grass had been used and that one of these was a totally different type of grass to the rest. I had to pay £800 to have this rectified and now have a lovely lawn with zero joins. I also complained that after laying the slabs my shed door would not shut properly (it still doesn't). Again this was attended to while we were away (Derek is a friend of a friend so I felt comfortable with him working unsupervised). Instead of adjusting the slabs they removed the door of the shed and sawed a piece of it! Several of my slabs have also sunk and had to be relaid as the bed of sand used was too deep. Poor job

I was given a date on February for work to commence April I had not heard anything from Custom Landscape on 30th March I contacted them and received text Saying it would be July before work would start

Derek and his team (Dougie and Rab) were absolutely spot on from start to finish. I couldn't have asked for a better job, so happy with the final outcome. They were extremely efficient, tidied up at the end of each day, and left a very satisfactory job. If anyone is looking for a company to do their landscaping (we got a new monoblock driveway and gravel area with stepping stones) then look no further than Custom Landscapes. Will definitely be contacting them when we get our back garden done.

Asked Derek to convert our front garden of grass / slabs to fully monoblocked. Great job with nothing too much trouble. Would recommend.

Had my driveway extended October 2016 (not sure why mybuilder.com has only just asked me for feedback). Derek was easy to deal with, decent price and good job done.

I hired Derek to sort my badly draining lawns front and back. He and his men were friendly and knowledgeable and completed the work promptly and for the price quoted. Unfortunately there was a requirement for him to come back out and do some additional work in the back garden, but Derek was as good as his word and personally came and did this work himself and the problem is solved. I now have great drainage, no more sodden grass, and I am happy to recommend him.
