We hired Jonathan to build and project manage our wrap around extension at the beginning of the year. During the build we made many changes to the original plans with some being suggested by Jon himself. Some of the big changes did require an extra cost to the original quote but these were agreed to at the time and stuck to.. All the other changes were done within the original quote. Jon and Mark turned up every day on time and even weekends and bank holidays to bring the project in on time. I would be more than happy to employ Jon again and would recommend him to anybody who is looking for builder in the Chorley area. Many thanks again Jon. Kieron.

We first used Jonathan Kent to carry out some internal modifications -replacing 2 bedrooms with 3, and moving a bathroom. We were so impressed by his work we subsequently used him to carry out some modifications on a sun lounge - replacing windows and doors, improving insulation, and roof repairs. In all aspects we have found his work to be of the highest quality. We have found him and all the tradesmen he emplys/contracts to be skilled, reliable, trustworthy, and fully committed to producing a high quality product. His prices are also competitive, with no nasty shocks for the 'extras' we requested as the projects progressed. I will certainly use Jonathan Kent again and would recommend him wholeheartedly.

Jon and his family live locally and he was recommended to us by a friend who also lives in the village. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone. He was swift to respond to our enquiry for a fixed quote which he clearly itemised and made time to go through it with us face to face, which was very reassuring. He started work as promised as soon as he had completed the job he was doing which was within about four weeks. The work we had done was a garage conversion which involved raising the existing floor level and levelling an uneven ceiling aswell as moving some piping from the upstairs shower room and fitting double doors, which he completed in just a few days. The time estimate he gave us ran over slightly due only to the suppliers delivery dates of the doors we ordered. Throughout the work he always kept us informed of his progress and the next step. The work itself we cannot fault. Jon is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work and was not happy unless he considered the job done properly. He and his team were friendly and co-operative and always took time to clean and tidy at the end of the day. We would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone.

We had a bedroom with en suite shower room built over the garage of our detached house. The work was carried out efficiently to ensure a perfect match and fit to the existing property. The team were always on time and tidied the site at the end of each day. The work was completed on time and within budget and Jonathan's attention to details ensured each stage of brickwork to plumbing, plastering and electrics were well co-ordinated. A job well done

We had a side extension built to our detached bungalow, project was completed on time (6 weeks), on budget and to a very high standard. We are fully satisfied with the standard of work and the team at JD Kent Builders.
