    Renovation/extension

    Satisfactory structural building work at the beginning of the project however, we would highly recommend that you do not to use JAD Building for any type of finishings, carpentry, joinery, plumbing etc. We were extremely unsatisfied with the finishings he did on our renovation and would NOT recommend using this company for this. This resulted in numerous issues and trades being called in to rectify the problems. He was very unprofessional and rude when dealing with any issues and his communication was awful throughout the entire project. We have dealt with numerous trades on our renovation who have all had lots of issues working with JAD building.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    We are disappointed that we have been unable to resolve the disagreement, and that you have not allowed us to finish the work to your satisfaction. Changes to the specifications were made several times during the job, and when notified of your dissatisfaction with our work we offered to make the changes requested, at no additional cost, to which you agreed. Unfortunately, having agreed a timescale to complete the snagging list, we were informed that you did not want us to visit the site again, so we were unable to make the changes as previously arranged. We have made several offers to rectify issues you have identified, at our own expense, despite still being owed money for the initial work.

    Replace wooden support beam keeping the porch roof up
    Cant fault the work that was carried out. The support beam was nearly identical to the one we needed replacing, it was treated and painted for us prior to installing. The work was done to a very high standard, and you would never know it had been replaced. Highly recommended!

    Remove shower and toilet and dividing wall between them

    JAD Building have carried an excellent building project at our property. They were professional, helpful and delivered a high standard of work. We will definitely use them again.

    New roof for outbuilding

    Hired JAD Building after reading previous feedback on this site. He is very professional and keeps to agreements. The quoting process is clear and professionally done. The work done is extremely thorough and done to a very high standard. I can highly recommend this tradesman. We were so impressed with his work that we hired him straight away for another job.

    rotten floorboards remedial damp work

    Great service from JAD. Punctual and friendly service. Work carried out to very high standard and for a good price. Would definitely use again and I highly recommend JAD for their experience and workmanship.

    advice re damp-proofing and plastering of a bedroom

    Single skin Brick no cavity needs Damp proof injection
    Very good tradesman. Knows his stuff and delivered an excellent job. Would definitely use again and recommend wholeheartedly to anyone

    Chimney repointing & brick re pointing
    We used JAD for a chimney rebuild, repointing and fascia repair. All work was completed on time, to a good standard and they left the area clean and tidy before leaving. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

    Garage conversion and possible fitted kitchen

    JAD builders completed our garage conversion, new fitted kitchen and living room renovation. The speed at which we received the initial quote and the timescale for completing the work was very quick. This was a very big project for us, as we were renovating the whole downstairs of our house. It was made a very smooth process from start to finish and we are over the moon with the finished project. All the builders and contractors involved in transforming our home were very approachable, professional and considerate at all times. We would highly recommend this company, and are intending to use them again to landscape our rear garden.
