The builder we selected never delivered close to the work he contracted to do. The schedule of 8 weeks became 20+ weeks and still not near finished. Significant rectification works required such was the poor quality of the work the builder attempted. Builder left the site before the end of the build project and left us to manage the completion so we had to contract with multiple trades ourselves and pay for work we had already paid for and purchase materials we had already paid for. So months late, poor quality workmanship, tens of thousands of pounds extra to rectify and complete the work- I can only describe our experience as a disaster and my advice to all is do not ever contract with G&D Building Maintenance, Dunfermline, Fife.

The guys did an excellent job and they were fast too.. I would recommend them to anyone needing their Roof fixed.

Greg and co did a few odd jobs around the house that we have wanted done for years. Everything from replace a broken tap, put up fencing, power wash the paving out the back. No job was too small and each one was done to a very high quality. Its made a fantastic change to the house. Very easy and pleasant to work with and would defiintely get him back to do any similar jobs in the future.

Greg and David first fitted my bathroom. I was suitably impressed to then request that they fit my kitchen and also lay laminate flooring and replace the skirting boards in my hall and living room. I found both Greg and David to be very open and friendly. They were reliable, accessible and kept me up-to-date at all times. The work was carried out in a timely fashion, to an excellent standard and on budget. Greg and David evidently take great pride in their efforts and work diligently to achieve a high quality finish. When discussing my ideas and thoughts, on more than one occasion, Greg voiced additional or different options open to me that I took on board. His experience and insight helped enhance my plans. Greg also happily offered to source a couple of items on my behalf using his knowledge to obtain the best quality or best value products. His assistance was greatly appreciated in helping me achieve my vision for my flat. I have no hesitation in recommending D + G. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the quotes more than fair.

As a demanding customer that knew my own mind, I wanted a new bathroom conversion with a difference, ultra-modern, sleek and luxurious, as well as functional and minimalist. Greg was more than willing to discuss options and implement my plans and with a minimum of fuss and disruption delivered my dream bathroom within budget in an exceptionally short time-span. He ensured that the work was carried to my very demanding standards and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. He is a friendly down to earth person who is open-minded and willing to discuss customer's preferences.
