    mains stop cock moved inside flat

    The only good thing about the completion of this job was the plumber that Gas 1 sent - Ross. They never returned calls or e-mails and at one point I thought they had gone into administration.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    We attended the job over three times and on the three times we attended the customer could not locate the mains stop cock. We then waited months for her to get back in contact after chasing the council up, to turn the water of in the street. we then attended straight away and got the job complete, and still only charged for 1 hour labour plus materials. You only have every one of our other feedback comment to see that this was not our fault

    Install lintels, 8 windows and main door

    Job not carried out. I assume a delay in receiving the building warrant, slight change in work to be carried out and the company merge resulted in the agreement falling through.

    Gas Boiler Service and Landlord safety Checks

    Have chosen to use Gas 1 for my rental properties. So several jobs will be in the pipeline. Do date they have been very approachable and have arranged jobs to my satisfaction. Repaired a leaking pipe at short notice and very quickly. Took on an additional job removing a bath and repairing walls and retiling again at short notice to the relief of my tenant, I am sure. Hope to have a long relationship with these guys.

    Boiler service

    Service completed, although no help with noise issue. Arrived later than arranged but communication was good.

    Small Kitchen Needs tiled

    Overall Great service. The Gas 1 Team were quick to come and have a chat about what I wanted done and were able to fit it in with my timescale (which was very short). The job was completed within a decent time and the tiling is fantastic. Exceeded my expectations! Well done!

    Sink overflowing when washing machine on
    Very helpful guys. Came back out no problem as wasn't a first time fix, but think this was mainly due to the siza of the washing machine rather than than the fix. Would hire again

    laying down builders lime in subfloor area (5-10m2)

    The quote was alot hirer than other quotes we had been given. However, the man that came (Pat), was friendly and efficient and was able to do the job four days earlier than expected!

    Replace Expansion Vessel

    Boiler problem
    Expansion vessel replaced in under an hour. Boiler functioning normally again. Professional and pleasant lads to deal with. No complaints at all.
