Fully Qualified Bricklayer (City & Guilds 1990)
Served as an apprentice at Oglesby Building Services
Moved onto P J Fletcher & Sons to further my knowledge of the building Trade
Returned to Oglesby Building Services as a working forman
Left in 1994 to become self employed, mixing private work with sub contract work
Spent 4 years on the David Wilson Homes 'Saxondale' project, completing most of the Building resoration of the old buildings myself
spent 3 seperate spells working in southern Ireland on major private renovation projects, allowing me to hone my 'General Builder' skills
in 2005 began work as an Operations Manager for Local company, allowing me to learn the business skills to go alongside my manual skills, enabling me to set up C J Smith Property Services in 2011
