Pavels and his team are clearly good at what they do which is why we spent time researching, meeting him and visiting past jobs. I hope however he learns from how he has organised our works and let us down at the last minute and left our family in a mess. We agreed in MAY that the works would be started in September (to fit in with his busy schedule). Last night I received a 2 line email (no phone call) cancelling the job. You cited that 2 loft conversations had been confirmed (presumably this week). You're chasing the 'bigger' jobs. In my book you honour the long standing commitment first. Only last week Pavels told me to buy the new bathroom suite. As a family with a small baby we also rearranged our summer holiday to be out of the house with no bathroom for 2 weeks. We changed the rear windows, left unfinished on the outside for the re-rendering. I genuinely do wish you continued success as good tradesmen are hard to find. Please learn from this. For future clients, beware you may get gazumped if a bigger job comes along. Pavels when the lean times return (and they will) I hope you dont rely on the 'smaller' jobs to see you through. From smaller jobs, come bigger jobs and recommendations to friends. Good luck, im off to find another contractor that can start in 3 weeks!!! otherwise we will have had our holiday and be in the house (with a baby) when the works starts....thank you!Answer from tradesperson:
Thima Green agreed to do the job in May. However, the procedure is to take a deposit upfront in order to secure a job.In this instance, the Client did not pay a deposit as it looks like, for the whole summer period they were still researching and meeting other tradesmen. Therefore, they did not want to pay a deposit and when they realised there is no one else to offer this job to and the time was pushing them, then the simplest way was to pressure Thima Green to do this job even though it has been 3 months and no official agreement was made(deposit paid or contract signed). Please accept my sincerest apologies for inconvenience caused. Nevertheless,as a company and a professional we always respect our clients and provide a high quality of service.

Review left on 10 May 2015Rating: 5 out of 5We would like to build rear extension and loft conversion with dormer.
Pavels and his team did a good job building our new kitchen extension and new loft. They worked hard and kept to the schedule with regard to time and price even though we had some unexpected challenges along the way. We are delighted with the result and the experience was so much better than we anticipated. We lived in the property during all the work and they did their best to ensure we still had cooking facilities and were able to function albeit it in a limited way. They also took care to keep things as clean as possible knowing we had to live amongst it. Overall the work was carried out with an absolute minimum of disruption, to an extremely high standard and was completed within the specified time frame All the team without exception, are extremely hard working and thoroughly professional. All the people who worked on the loft were polite, helpful, punctual and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We would have no hesitation in recommending Thima Green Limited if you want a quality loft and extension built.Review from zsofi_steve, Bromley zsofi_steve, Bromley
Review left on 6 May 2015Rating: 5 out of 5Terraced House, BromleyPavels and his team did a great job on completing an internal re-configuration for us and for a reasonable price. The job involved knocking through a load bearing wall and replacing with a steel frame, re-plastering several walls and ceilings, screeding a concrete slab, significant electrical changes and new plumbing for a future kitchen. We also had them change an external window, and repair a parapet wall on our roof. The work to the bearing wall was a bit tricky as our structural engineer designed a 4 sided frame and had another beam "Tee-ing" onto it. This required some consideration as to the method and sequence of propping and demolition. To Pavels' credit the process went smoothly and quickly. and the space now looks great. Of course with any building works, and especially on old Victorian property like ours, some inevitable unforeseen problems arose (nothing major). Pavels was very proactive towards finding a solution and involved us in any decisions to tackle the various issues. Communication with Pavels is really good and he always seems to be available on the phone. We are very happy with the work they carried out and would not hesitate in recommending them.Review from andrewmoorhouse, Sydenham, London andrewmoorhouse, Sydenham, London
Review left on 26 Apr 2015Rating: 5 out of 5moving kitchen & refitting, building internal wall etcWe needed help with various tasks in our property. This included installing a new kitchen, work on the boiler, flooring and dealing with various issues in the bathroom, including two leaks. Pavels gave us a very reasonable quote, he and his team were on time every day, they were friendly and helpful and completed the work to a fantastic standard. Everything looks beautiful. I was being quite annoying with a list of various tasks every morning but Pavels was always friendly, patient and never moaned. He was also pro-active - anticipating any potential problems and coming up with solutions without hiking up the price. This work was very important to us - we do not have an endless supply of money so getting the right builder was really important and we are so pleased we chose Thima Green. Everyone has been delighted with the standard of the work and we will definitely use Thima Green again - they have been absolutely first class from start to finish and I cannot recommend them highly enough.Review from Customer of Thima Green Ltd Customer of Thima Green Ltd
Review left on 15 Feb 2015Rating: 5 out of 5loft conversion
I am really happy with the work that Thima Green did in my home. I had quite a clear idea of what I wanted but wasn't sure whether it could be executed within my budget. When I met with Pavels, who later project managed my loft conversion, I had a lot of questions. As I am not a builder, I wasn't sure what was possible and what was not, so he helped me visualise how the space could become. Once I had decided on Thima Green rather than the other builders I met with (whose quotes were considerably more expensive) we agreed the work in writing. Before the agreed a start date, he sourced all of the materials, identified tradesmen, then completed within the agreed time frame. The work I had done included construction of spiral staircase, reinforcement of floor beams, drainage and removal of a water tank, re-plumbing of my system so it worked from the mains, instillation of windows, insulating the floor and roof, re-flooring and creating walls, plastering, construction of cupboards, electrical instillation and painting. Throughout the build, I found Thima Green vert easy to work with. The team are polite, prompt and highly skilled. Their attention to detail meant I now have a space I can enjoy. I am really happy with the outcome and confident about recommending their services to others.Review from cejmay, Grove Park, London cejmay, Grove Park, London
Review left on 23 Nov 2014Rating: 5 out of 5Bathroom refit/refurbishmentPavels did a very good job on our bathroom. He followed our instructions carefully and the finished product is just what we wanted. His communication was excellent throughout, responding promptly to emails and text messages (and telephone calls). Pavels is friendly and nice to deal with, and offered good advice, especially at the initial visit in relation to the shower mixer we had purchased (we purchased something that would be problematic to fit, and so returned it and bought something more appropriate), we appreciated his honesty on this and in relation to other matters arising throughout the project. Pavels (+ his assistant) worked very hard to finish the bathroom as quickly as possible, arriving early everyday at the agreed time. A few issues arose in the fitting process (e.g. The bath legs needed to be adjusted to allow for the tiled bath panel to be fitted) but Pavels addressed this and other problems quickly and effectively. The mess and dust was a little intrusive at times, and we sometimes felt that this could have been better controlled, but we understand that this was somewhat unavoidable and only temporary. I would definitely recommend Pavels and would be more than happy to use him again in the future.Review from Customer of Thima Green Ltd Customer of Thima Green Ltd
Review left on 13 Nov 2014Rating: 5 out of 5Fit ensuite bathroom
Pavels carried out an outstanding job for us. His attention to detail has been superb, and he has been easy & accommodating to deal with. We hired Pavels to plumb, install and complete an ensuite bathroom from scratch (i.e previosuly a bedroom). This required new plumbing, electrics, plastering, tiling (which is excellent) and the end product is immaculate and stunning.Review from Customer of Thima Green Ltd Customer of Thima Green Ltd
