We have an old cottage dating back to early 1800 which has been extended, so when looking for a potetial builder to undertake work we had quite a few quotes, which naturally varied considerably. Cornwell Builders was one of 6 companies we had quote. Cornwell builders were competitively priced but not the cheapest, however straight away I felt comfortable with the decison we made choosing Mark because he was straight talking, his experience and advise. We first required Mark to simply fit a new kitchen and build an ensuite in the master bedroom. After work commenced we were so happy with the work that Mark and his team had undertaken we then asked him to arrange the plasteing in other rooms which he did quickly and again priced well (we did obtain other quotes for this). Without going into detail, Mark and his team virtually refurbished the whole house (our choice) as we were over the moon with the work, pace of work and costs that he had provided, he kept a detailed log of what additional works he had done (which tallied with ours) and was prompt and not once over the 7 weeks let us down. In addition to this he had made suggestions (without pressure) which some we went ahead with too that we simply didnt think about, which have paid dividens.
