(Updated on 3 Apr 2019)Great guy. Widow frame was rotten so it turns out the glass could not be replaced. Therefore, this job did not go ahead in the end.

Poor work Agressive Will drink your alcohol The job: Repaint the living room&ceiling.Fix&paint over small leak damage.Paint the woodwork (shutters had been installed&the window frame was chipped)Had to be done by 28th. Colin came to view,said he could repair them cracks vs just paint over them&would repair chipped woodwork round the window&repaint.He assured me the job could be done in 4days MAX. I emailed on the 20th & I called him to let him know&arrange key collection.He assured me the work would be mostly done by Sun,said he'd work through the night Fri.On Sunday nothing had been done since Fri.I checked in Mon27th,to ensure completion by the 28th& he said no.I came home Mon eve to find he had drunk my beer,had painted half the room&had merely painted over the leak damage not fixed it.I called to say how disappointed I was with the progress.He lost his temper.The next morning he called me just after 9am screaming&swearing.I calmly asked him to stop&he hung up so I raced home.He apologised later.At 10am my flatmate found him drinking our beer again!He left at 2pm having "finished".He had accidentally painted over one of the newly grey painted walls with white,there's paint splatter on the floors,he hadn't done the ceiling,there was paint on the glass windows,the window frame still had unpainted chips.He did come back&fix the wall colour&paint over the ceiling crack, no repairing.Answer from tradesperson:
After correspondence (which i have kept evidence of) I told Alanna i needed 4 days on her job. She agreed. Fri-Tues. I don’t work Sundays & wouldn’t tell a client i’d work through the night. She then changed it saying work had to be complete by day3, hurrying the job. She was talking so rudely,I didn't swear, I asked her to be quiet, put the phone down after she called me a fool. I did apologise for that. To list untruths is slander & I'm seeking legal advice. She complained re the cost of job so with her allegations deducted money of bill I called, emailed many times. She ignored all & could have left negative feedback immediately (not 3wks later) during a dispute plus not paid for the job. Please read all my reviews for unbiased feedback

Colin came round within 24 hours of initial contact, scoped the job in 5 minutes, sourced the correct paint that matched our wall, and did the job itself a couple of days later in a matter of hours. He even left us a paint brush to touch up elsewhere. He looked at our drains and cleared them within an hour. I would definately recommend him and work with him again.
