I received three quotes for the work, including a local glazing company, and A & E's was the cheapest by a substantial margin. That coupled with the overwhelming positive feedback for A & E on the site encouraged me to go with them. Tony and his team did a great job, we needed to replace our patio doors urgently as they had been accidentally broken and he organised for replacement doors and frame to be made and fitted within a week of my first email to him. His company is FENSA certified too so we knew it was being done by the right people. His team were very courteous and tidy and completed the work with no issues at all.

Tony is a very good person to deal with - he does always get back to you with an answer to your question and does deliver what he promises. We are very happy with our two replacement bathroom windows.

Anthony is one of the top rate people on this site apparently and I am not surprised. I hired him to fit a double glazed window in my bedroom of my flat built in 1850. He quoted a good price (far cheaper than the big glazers).

On the day though 2 other people of his turned up to do the work and they were not really up to the complexity of the job - the plaster is a disaster area in my flat and is completely missing in some areas! The result was a window that didn't look straight.

I called Anthony and he made time to come across London to see the result. He agreed it wasn't good enough. He then spent the whole day pulling the window out and more or less rebuilding the wall it was sitting on before replacing the window and completely remaking the frame around it. He had to come back 2 more times to finish the job and didn't charge me a penny extra even when I offered to pay.

OK, he perhaps he should have guessed the state of the plaster and did the job himself rather than using junior guys but he went above and beyond the call of duty to make good on it and I ended up getting a fantastic deal. The window is now perfect - it's completely silent, looks great and with no condensation or other problems.

It was a straight forward job and Tony did the job quickly, fixing more than he originally said he could. He came with an assistant who went in and out to get things which helped. Even had a card machine to take payment which makes everything easier. No problems.

Job not done yet, but this feedback is to say that the price agreed is for the original job + an extra window that I've decided replace, not just for the original 1 bay & 1 sash; so to just provide the price, mybuilder.com, would be misleading!

Maybe you should add a space for notes to the 'agreed price' field to provide for this sort of eventuality.

Tony didn't do the installation himself, but the two guys who did the work were friendly, polite and fast working. They managed to install my hi-tech cat flap (Pet Porte Smart Flap) despite not having seen one before, with just a small amount of trial and error. They also replaced a broken kitchen window with no problems at all. Great to be able to pay by card.
Tony was always responsive to my text messages / calls, despite his clearly busy schedule. The only minor thing that could have been improved was the communication from his side - it took three appointments before he came to do the quote and measurements, and I had to contact him twice after that to find out when they would be coming to install the new glass, despite being promised a call back. Still, the work was completed fast and with no problems, so I would recommend using Tony!

Having already spoken with a couple of the large national companies, and gone through all the hassle of their sales pitches, it was a relief to speak to Tony who knows about windows and gave some good advice.

We are absolutely delighted with the work he and his team did - it's completely transformed the house.

His feedback speaks for itself so right from the start I felt in safe hands. He's a really personable guy and a great communicator. We'd had several other quotes and his was very competitive. He worked in other projects we wanted - but didn't think we could afford - which other window companies couldn't offer.

We had double glazing; bevelled glass fanlights to 2 bays; frosted glass on the bathroom and hallway windows; a catflap in a glass door; 2 windows blocked up; a mirrored wall (approx 2.5x2.5m); and a stained glass window made up to my own design for the landing window.

When I made a mistake in choosing one of the colours for the stained glass Tony sorted it out with without hassle or additional expense.

Whilst blocking up a window in our shower room he offered to pull down the tiling that needed to go. This was much appreciated as it's saved us a lot of time.

Tony, Darren, Nick and Jamie were really nice guys to have around and are very trustworthy.

I was very pleased with the work Tony did. He was professional and friendly throughout, and the new window looks great. He tidied up everything behind him and took away the old window - it was all done in an afternoon and with the minimum of fuss. Very happy.

We invited Tony to quote on our windows which required urgent replacement. Not only did he undercut our competitor, but he promised that within 7 days, they would be made up, delivered and installed on site.

Tony called the night before to say he was going to arrive for 8am. At 8am EXACTLY today, along with his team- Darren and Jeremy, they started work.
12 hours later, with 3 bay windows (x3) + bathroom + toilet + study/office window, this was all finished.

During this time, they were friendly, and worked extremely hard. All rubbish was cleared and our house was kept as clean as possible.

Considering the fact that it is a Saturday and the fact that our windows are some 150 years old, which proved to be tricky, the guys did a fantastic job.

Indeed, we have a few more windows (which are specialist and we require stained/unique etching onto arch), we are inviting Tony and his team back to replace the final three.

We would have absolutely no hesitation to recommend Anthony and his team to any potential customer. Thanks very much guys! Very happy!

He accidently damaged one of the window whilst repairing the locking mechanism on one of the faulty UPVC window. Before he even told me about the problem, he had already ordered a new window and came few days later to fix it, obviously at no extra cost. Tony fitted us a new front door with a side window. His price was by far the most competitive that we found and the workmanship is faultless. He offered us a vast amount of choice and we opted for a composite door with our house number frosted in glass on the side panel - it looks very stylish and we are often getting comments about how great it looks.
He came and fitted it quickly for us even though he is very busy as there was a security risk with our old door. I am very impressed with his service and hope to keep Tony for all our glazing needs for as long as we live in London. He is also a really nice patient guy!

We needed Tony to temporarily remove a window in order to get some large furniture into our new flat on moving day, and to replace the window again after they were done.

Tony came on Saturday to look at our skylight that was cracked and leaking. He came back Monday afternoon and put a brand new skylight in for us with suitable strong glass. Tony got up on the roof and fixed it all from the outside so we didn't even need to be at home to let him in and it was all done when I got home from work. He seemed very lovely and didn't mess about, didn't leave any mess and gave a good price. We would definitely use him again and definitely would recommend him to anyone.

Tony was really easy to work with and had a good attitude to getting the job done. We had some problems with our supplier delivering broken glass and then delivering it with holes cut in the wrong areas but Tony worked around this each time and was very flexible. Despite being up against it with so much other stuff on I was impressed by the way Tony made the time to get the job done right. If you want a tradesman at a very reasonable rate and with a top attitude I would strongly recommend Tony. In fact I am using him again on another project shortly and I am seldom satisfied enough to use the same tradesman twice.

48 hours after i found mybuilder.com, the window had been viewed, quoted on and fixed (and only because a storm prevented the job being done within 24 hours).

Tony did a great job on our windows, from start to finish. We've had lots of tradesmen work on our renovation over the last 6 months, and I can without hesitation say that he has been the most professional one yet!

He was patient whilst we changed our minds about what we wanted (a lot), and was always happy to make suggestions where we weren't too sure.

They arrived when they said would, and completed the job on time. Tony even put up our bathroom mirror for us, which wasn't part of the job.

If you would like to have someone that knows the trade, won't try and rip you off with a ridiculous quote and will do a very professional job, unlike some of the quotes we had from the larger glazing firms, then AEGlazing are definitely the company to go with.

Tony has just removed all the tired and rotten old windows in my flat and replaced them with brand new double glazed UPVC units. The job he's done has been absolutely superb from beginning to end. Plastering was also completed on the tricky areas around the windows to a very high standard. What I am even more impressed with however was the stained glass leadlight window that Tony has installed in the side of the flat. This is of a Victorian style sun/moon image with stars and clouds changing from day to night. The work on this is absolutely first class and the detail in the job superb, it was far better than I hoped for and is now a prize feature in my flat especially when the sun catches it in the mornings.

We had a broken window on the first floor. Tony came on Friday to provide a quote which we were very happy with, and took measurements straight away. I found Tony on myBuilder (this is the first time I have used the site) and found him very efficient and straight forward. We got a uPVC sash window put in our bathroom with obscured glass and the end result is fantastic. You can open the frame out to clean both sides of the glass and in my opinion it looks better a traditional wooden one in a modern bathroom. Tony was very helpful and we ended up going with his recommendations for the glass and accessories.

Anhony responded quickly, kept me updated at all times, did the job carefully and completed the job well. I'm one happy landlord with a happy tenant now. I would definiteley use again

As others have found, our experience with Tony has been nothing but positive; he has proven himself to be reliable, trustworthy and able. He is clearly knowledgeable/well experienced.

All our communications with him from the outset have been handled professionally, efficiently and quickly, meaning we were able to get a firm quote (which did not change on the day) and a date in the diary very shortly after posting the job. On the day of the appointment, he courteously informed us of a small delay in traffic on the way here and then worked diligently, professionally and cleanly to replace the cracked panes, taking care to protect the surrounds. Along the way, he happily answered our additional questions, making recommendations and volunteering additional assistance - delaying himself - even though it was late in the day and he'd been here by then, for many hours.

We will definitely employ him again when we have window/glazing requirements.
