Customer of ABCO Property Services
Kitchen / Living Room complete refurbishment
Answer from tradesperson:
This client is a project manager and knows how to play the system. I would advise all tradesmen to think carefully before working for this client. She asked for additional work to be undertaken which has a cost implication. It was not until I presented my final invoice that the client cited bad workmanship and reduced the amount paid by £450, coincidentally, the cost of the additional work! It is not acceptable to outline supposed faults in workmanship then give the tradesman no chance to respond or rectify, to be told that you are withholding funds for another party to remedy. This was just a ploy to avoid paying for the additional work. I am limited to 750 characters here but if customers would like a fuller explanation please contact me.
